We had a wonderful time. The crew really are a credit to Celebrity - nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they do everything so cheerfully. We had the best waiters in the MDR in Mary Grace and Umesha - they truly cared about what they were serving and were fabulous.
Captain Alex was very engaged with us and we looked forward to his daily announcements.

I hate flying. So any cruise that docks in Australia is attractive to me. It was easy to get to the port from Waikiki but we left it late and got traffic. This was a good size ship. We chose the transpacific cruise because of the ports and Celebrity Solstice because of reviews and recommendations. Cabin: Cabin 9191, an outside balcony on the port side, had plenty of room and the most well-designed bathroom we’ve seen on a cruise ship, with more storage space than we needed and a shower big enough that you could actually pick up a dropped bar of soap. We always wanted to do this cruise and visit Hawaii.
Unfortunately our time in Hawaii of 5 days was not enough time, you definitely need a full week or more. Hawaii is great. The weather was great and so was our accomodation at the Hilton Embassy Suites.
