We chose the transpacific cruise because of the ports and Celebrity Solstice because of reviews and recommendations. Very pleased we went Aqua class as the food and service in Blu restaurant was outstanding, especially for anyone with special dietary requirements. By comparison, the main dining room was mediocre, but the buffet was better than expected. The Spa cafe was also good for light ...

Loving cruising and wanting to go to Hawaii and the added bonus of Vancouver was amazing! Landed in Oahu end of April with warm air and palm trees! Glad to get here after over 12 hours of travel and changing planes from the East Coast. Hubby upgraded us to First Class so not so hard to take the trip:) Hawaii and Oahu were more than I imagined! Good food, friendly people, upgrade in our room ...

Great ship, but room issues marred experience...

A cruise ship is a small city, and 3/4 of the people are all living in the same hotel (the other 1/4 are crew, and live on the lower decks). Depending on what you've reserved (a room versus a suite, a window versus a balcony), it's a hotel life. Attendants make your bed and change your towels, space is at a premium, there's a small safe in your closet, and the mini-bar has a few drinks and snacks ...

We always wanted to do this cruise and visit Hawaii. Unfortunately our time in Hawaii of 5 days was not enough time, you definitely need a full week or more. Hawaii is great. The weather was great and so was our accomodation at the Hilton Embassy Suites. Celebrity Cruises are great as was this one. The service and staff are amazing and very friendly. No faults there. However I will say ...

The Vast Pacific Ocean

I think this itinerary was mis-named. For me, South Pacific Treasures would have been more accurate, because it was traversing the South Pacific ocean that was the purpose of this cruise, with a total of 11 sea days. One day we were treated to 4-5 meter waves, another day 2 meter waves, another day it was a pacific ocean, smooth as a lake. Overnight of Oct. 5, we were treated to a beautiful ...

Cruising the Hawaiian Islands was a cruise I have always wanted to do. Booked Aqua Class as sailed with Celebrity before and enjoyed eating in 'Blu' restaurant. It was a great cruise and did not disappoint. I could not rate this cruise as excellent due to a couple of small issues but these did not spoil the cruise in any way. The food on board was very good, lots of choice and deserts ...

My wife & I chose Celebrity Solstice for a 18-day Tahitian cruise to Hawaii, as my wife's birthday coincided with the cruise being at Bora Bora on that day. Generally speaking, the cruise was very enjoyable and strongly recommended for the following reasons: 1. This is a floating city with 5-star amenities and is very stable, even when 4-metre waves were encountered. 2. This ship is clean ...

Pacific Paradise Cruise of a Lifetime

We chose this cruise after seeing an advert in the UK DMail in late 2015 and just fancied the itinerary. I thought, 'looks interesting, like those stop-offs, I wonder if I can get it for less . . .' After some investigation and maths I found that we could go on the cruise, plus have a few nights in start and finish destinations for the same amount. So we went ahead and booked and so glad we did. ...

Chose this cruise because of the destinations. Found embarkation could have been handled better ie. long time queuing. Hard sales for drinks packages which were extortionate compared to other cruise lines, speciality restaurants and always pushing for booking another cruise in the news letter received every evening in the cabin. Excursions were also expensive compared to other cruise lines and not ...
