We have recently cruised with both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Both ships carried well over 2500 passengers. Years ago we cruised the Eastern Mediterranean on a Greek ship which only held under 300 passengers and have also done a couple of river cruises.

I booked Concierge Class because of the perks - what the heck it was only a few hundred dollars more. We did not receive priority embarkation nor debarkation's as advertised nor were we given special access to our staterooms when we were finally permitted to board the ship. Embarcation was efficient and well planed.
Embarkation went very well.
The staterooms were very pleasant and balcony of adequate size. But the soundproofing between the rooms was very bad indeed. Entertainment not as good as the RCI ships.
