Full marks to our cabin steward who kept the room perfectly during our trip and quickly attended to all our needs. As already stated, we were given a complementary upgrade from internal to a balcony , thank you so much. The Shower and bathroom were excellent, but the bed (formed from two single units) was not a good shape for optimum comfort. Decor could do with a refresh- balcony furniture etc. Read Less

This balcony cabin was on the port side of the ship which I worked out would be the best for this itinerary. The cabin was similar to other balcony cabins we have been in but we did enjoy the bed being next to the sliding door to the balcony rather than the main door. We liked the sliding door to the balcony which made the room on the balcony seem larger without a door swinging out onto it. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of room underneath the bed for our two large suitcases. We also had a rather large sofa in our room as well. The bathroom had a shower which we found better than having to step into a bath to have our shower. The only negative about this room was it appeared that on one side in particular, the insulation/sound proofing seemed to be lacking. The next cabin seemed to spend most of the time in their cabin with the TV on and we could hear it quite clearly which affected our enjoyment of any quiet time in the cabin to read, nap, etc. We could also easily hear their conversation. Have never struck this in any other cabin before. Read Less

The cabin was adequate for our needs, the larger bathroom was appreciated. The toiletries were very basic, and looked like cheap motel types. Our cabin Stewart was excellent and we thank him for being so attentive. Read More

The cabin was a nice size, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was a bummer that you were not able to connect a chromecast or fire tv to watch your videos or photos on a larger screen. The bathroom was spacious. They have two configurations for the room. We happened to get one with the bed closer to the veranda. It was nice to lay in bed and look at the land/seascape. My daughter had the same room but with the bed closer to the bathroom. It made the whole room look smaller, more cramped. Read Less

We were in stateroom 7210, which is starboard and mid ship. Being starboard located allowed for more time with a land view early on the trip north. The bed was comfortable and the small sofa an easy place to sit. All the typical amenities were there, and, surprisingly, robes for our use. There was no noise at all. We were sandwiched between two decks with only cabins and not near any crew entrances. The elevators were fairly close, but I took the stairs when I could. One minor issue was that the lifeboats are below this deck which meant that we did not have a clear view of the water straight down. We liked having that view on our last cruise Read Less
