Loved the location of this cabin right near the elevators in the center of the ship. It was convenient to just about everything. While not huge, it served our needs. We had twin beds, a large couch, and desk area. Best part was the balcony. We enjoyed many hours sitting on the balcony. The partial blockage of the Celebrity X on the outside glass partition did not bother us at all. In fact, it made it easy for us to identify our cabin while in port and looking at the ship. The bathroom was larger than expected with a nice shower and good storage for toiletries. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap etc were of good quality and I never used the supplies I had brought with me. I would book this cabin again. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin unaffected by noise. 9204 is mid ship and we had pretty good weather so there wasn't much swaying or rocking. The cabins are perfect for two but three would be a crowd. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was a standard veranda stateroom on the hump. Excellent view in all directions. We find there is plenty of room for 2 persons. The bathroom is really nice and the shower is a nice size with glass doors and plenty of hot water. Overall condition was very good. TV died on us and was replaced within about 1 hour. Room attendants were great. A fairly quiet cabin except in rough seas when you get some creaking noises. Near the stairs and elevator for quick access to everything. Read entire member review >>
This bump out cabin enabled us to have even better views of all that Alaska had to offer this Summer. It was kept perfectly clean by our Smiling attendants ! The beds & pillows were extremely comfortable. While some cruisers felt the showers to be small, we had plenty of room & felt the bathroom was large enough. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was welcoming not over roomy we had a sofa bed which acted as our seating area, had to place a towel over it to make it comfortable to sit on without sticking to the fabric. Flat screen TV was set a bit high so got a sore next if you watched a movie and the screen was very close. Only American programs on the TV despite FOX no Aussie content. choice of free movies wasn't bad managed to fill in a few hours watching a selection, but I would have thought that a cruise ship supposedly tweaked for AUstralian season could have demonstrated more Australian content and feel about it rather than the over hyped American BS. As said before bathroom was good sized and surprised by fact Hot water was always plentiful and ready when required. Verandah adequate and being in the middle could see full length of ship . Excellent cabin with plenty of hanging and drawer space - even plenty of coat hangers although I am pleased that we took a few extras. Loved that the TV swivelled so you could lay in bed and watch it. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was a good size with the sofa bed nearest to the veranda.
The bed was very comfortable. Suitcases fitted under the bed for storage
Plenty of space for personal possessions.
I took an additional 20 lightweight wire hangers and was very pleased I did!
Bathroom very adequate with some personal products supplied.
Veranda had 2 reclining chairs and a table big enough for eating. Read entire member review >>
Great placement on the ship. The balcony sits out from the ship in this area and gives you a good view of the bow and aft. of the ship. Close to the 8 elevators on board and quiet. Bed was comfortable, the TV was not very user friendly, some of the interactive features were not working. Read entire member review >>
Our room seemed smaller than others I have stayed in. There was not as much storage and it did not seem to be very convenient, i.e., some cabinets high up over the bed. The room steward was okay but did not get an ice bucket until we asked for it. Only one night did he do an animal with the towels, etc. Did not seem to be the extras that we have experienced on other Celebrity ships. Read entire member review >>
Big balcony with great view forward. Nice room. Couch near window. Quiet. Small closet. Good storage under bed for luggage. Bed was soft and wonderful with no gap between sleeping areas (like one big mattress). Read entire member review >>
good location 9th deck center starboard - idiot neighbor fed the seagulls from his balcony in port - within seconds 100dreds swarmed and landed on his and neighboring balconies until management interfered and removed neighbor and thereby seagulls ...if you think you have seen it all - ........ The cabin and veranda were very nice. Very little noise even though we weren't far from the elevators. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of storage room especially for a shorter cruise.
Needs a clothesline in the bathroom. Another electrical outlet near the bed would be much appreciated. And a water pitcher. Read entire member review >>
EXCELLENT. Modern, comfortable in every aspect and clean. Significant space for all belongings. Lounge area. Shower really spacious for cruise ship. Small traffic from Card Room however for us this was not significant enough to create any problems. Read entire member review >>
7354 has the bed by the balcony doors. There is adequate closet space if you use the overhead cupboards over the bed. We found that coffee table is best placed in the corner of the room by the balcony door. The balcony has a small irregular shape so it is slight larger than the normal outside balcony. You do not have a view aft but can see forward. I think that the balcony above may be a slightly better position. Read entire member review >>
We had room 9123. When first walking in to the room I was very pleased but my husband (tall guy) thought the room was small. Maybe all in the perception of things but I thought it was perfect.
Bathroom: Right when you walk in there's a bathroom to the right which was more spacious then I thought it would be. Nice cabinets and shelves for toiletries. Nice shower with good water pressure and the water gets super hot!. . .Shampoo, soap, etc are provided just like in a hotel but I like to bring my own.
Room: We had two twin beds pushed together that made a queen sized bed. It was perfectly adequate. The bed was firm but soft (I don't know how else to describe it!). There was a tv we didn't turn on until probably the 2nd day. You can order room service 24hr items and breakfast items during certain evening hours for the next day. Room service was very slow- I'd give it over an hour. Most items were included/free. There was a minibar in the room (we did not use)-a long couch that could probably double as a bed for a small teenager. Vanity and small drawers. Lots of storage under the beds for suitcases. Closets average size with a few shelves and lots of hangers. These rooms are not big enough for 3 people in my opinion.
Balcony: Perfect! Absolutely unobstructed views- I think each port but one we pulled up on our side, the left side so we had a great views of each port as we were docked. We could also see part of the captain's bridge.
Great room- I would definitely want to stay in it or similar room again. We did feel some rough waters- but it seemed that way in different parts of the ship at different times. It wasn't like that at all times. Read entire member review >>
We loved the size of the cabin. We were surprised, however, by the storage space compared to other cruises we've been on. We could have shoved more things under the bed instead of double hanging items. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 9227 is a hump balcony mid-ship. Really convenient being mid-ship and right near the elevator. We didn't use the balcony much and don't really think it's that big of a deal to be on the hump. Noise level was low. Read entire member review >>
Although near lifts never heard any noise .
unobstructed view form balcony great position mid ship
plenty of storage in showeroom , Bed was great and under bed storage was
excellent for case etc. Read entire member review >>
The room was large enough for 2 adults and 1 small child, well organized, large LCD TV [check out the free on-demand movies], Pullman bed, just enough storage space, and a standard size balcony; the bathroom was a pleasant surprise with the sliding glass doors on the shower. The room is not soundproof. We could hear our neighbors' [either side] TV and muffled conversations. Luckily, we did not spend much time in the room. Read entire member review >>
Very nice stateroom with modern amenities such as above the counter sink, beautiful faucets, lots of storage in the bathroom. The closet was a good size, well stocked refrigerator, really, really comfortable bed. The bed linens were very nice and we had robes. Read entire member review >>
Spacious comfortable accessible cabin (not handicapped but appreciated the extra space in cabin and bathroom; perhaps the shower floor can be slanted to prevent water from the shower from running onto the bathroom floor; location is great-close to elevator but nice and quiet; no problems with noise from other cabins; extra space on balcony is also great, perhaps a lounger can be added-there is certainly enough space. Cabin was spacious and very comfortable. Large bathroom, plenty of storage space under the sofa, bed and closet. Balcony was large with 2 lounge chairs and a small table. Great for that morning coffee.
Even though we were only about 15 steps from the elevator we never heard a sound in our room. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8273-1B Deluxe with Veranda. Great location, nice spacious bathroom, ample storage, big couch, typical balcony but with nice reclining chairs and standard basic cabin space. Great comfy beds and linens. Read entire member review >>
We were surprised not to hear noise. We heard NOTHING! We had a huge 37" TV that actually swiveled out on an angle for us to see while in bed! Incredible!
Bathroom had a great shower and was a perfect size, with storage as well. Read entire member review >>
Excellent location mid-ship. Great balcony, roomy, lots of storage space, nice amenities. The bed was large and very comfortable. There's an in-room safe, mini bar, roomy bathroom. I'd like it if all the cabins had chairs with foot rests. The towels were very small and thin...but I don't think it's worth the extra money to upgrade to Concierge Class. The TV was large and was on a mount that could enable it to be viewed from the bed or couch, but there were few entertainment-focused channels. Read entire member review >>
Good location midway between forward and mid-ship elevators, and midway between the entertainment and pool decks. Bed is in area closest to bathroom. Deeper balcony than usual on other mass market balcony ships, with a high snack table and two reclining chairs (but no foot rests). Read entire member review >>
Even though we had arrived early, our stateroom was already available. It was clean, neat, nicely appointed, and generous with the storage, all tucked cleverly in just about every nook and cranny. Raymond, our cabin attendant was standing by ready to give us our room tour. I should note that the glass beneath the veranda handrail in 8269 is partially obscured with a translucent blue film that makes up part of the trademark X on the side of the ship. It didn't bother us one bit, but may others. The room is also perfectly located near the elevator lobby, but totally isolated from it. A great location in our opinion. Read entire member review >>
Great location very near elevators and aft stairs. Situated on the aft bump out with good 180 degree views and no obstruction down to sea. Adjoining cabin with 9276 and, according to brochure, can take 4 but except for no under sofa storage no noticeable difference to next door.
When we sailed there was a noticeable drain smell in the cabin and in the corridor by the inspection panels. I assume they will be trying to fix this. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was comfortable. The couch was a waste of space though. It becomes a piece of furniture to hold items. We acualIy moved the table to the balcony for more space. We loved the space of the bathroom. The nicest we've seen on any ship by far. The only problem we had with our cabin was that is was noisey. We could hear above and next door noises. It sounded like chairs were being moved above us or kids hopping around. The Italians next door to us came in loud and clear. We even heard the phone ringing next door. The balcony was great. We were portside on this trip and saw most of the ports that we came into from our balcony. The closet was adequate and we clearly had to ask for more hangars. My husband ended up using cubbies in the bathroom for storage. Nice storage space above the beds. The beds were very comfortable! Read entire member review >>
This cabin is just about at the center of what could be considered the "hump." About 1/3 of the glass veranda is covered by the "X" on the side of the ship. Otherwise, it is a fantastic location. Read entire member review >>
