Our hotel kicking- out time was 12 noon, so we asked them to call us a taxi to the port, knowing it was early for embarkation, but not wanting to wander the streets with luggage.

This was our second Celebrity cruise - we sailed on Eclipse last year.
Initial impressions of Solstice were very good. Although a few years older than Eclipse she is in good shape and communal areas and cabins were clean and well looked after.

We were very impressed with the Solstice, which surprised us as we are smaller ship cruiser if we have a choice. This ship is very big and carries a lot of passengers but fells more like a small ship is the way the passengers congregate.
