I chose this cruise because it was a five star modern luxury ship. But in effect it was 3 star at best, it was going in for refit it was understaffed, the service was very poor the food was the same every day. Compared to Solstice Class ships a very, very disappointing experience. Public areas are old and dirty and not well maintained. Half of the showers in Persian Garden did not work. We booked the Millennium as a party of 12 celebrating a 70th birthday. Given the high premium we paid, we were expecting 2 weeks of good food and great entertainment. What we actually received was 14 days of disappointment where the highlight of the day was the inevitable stopover at Guest Relations.
