Great value for the money.

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Let's face it. A 14 day cruise from Shanghai to Singapore for under $1,000 is a no brainer. Thought the charge ($270) was quite high for WiFi. Shore excursions pricey. Drink packages expensive. Mandatory tips. Shops concentrated on very expensive items. But here's the deal. 14 days to fabulous ports and they are still charging what they probably charged for a cruise like this 10 or 15 years ago. ...

Great itinerary

We have done many celebrity cruises and this itinerary was a good one for us. Yes the ship is a bit tired but that did not distract from our enjoyment at all. Cabin was A2 Aquaclass which was fine but we suffered from overhead noise at all times of the day and early mornings, but being under the pool deck what does one expect! Our cabin attendant Robert was fabulous. Dining in Blu was ...

Mixed feelings

These our my personal opinions and feelings about the experience so the same scenarios may have a completely different impact on others. I travelled with my wife and the check in at Singapore was easy and we were on-board and in our cabin within 30 minutes. We come from a small town of 1500 in Western Australia. So there were more people on this ship than in our town. I don't mind crowds but ...

Celebrity Millennium Five star disaster

70 th birthday celebration disasterous choice. We booked a sky suite near the very top of the range cabins. We identified a twenty point plus list of problems in the cabin some which where never solved all the time we were on board. Others solved/improved by the fifth day of seven. A five star luxury cruise it was not. Example electrical wiring with exposed ends hanging out of the bathroom ...

Lovely refurbishment but sailed too soon!

We booked this because we couldn't fault celebrity Constellation last June. It was our first visit to Asia. The cabins are lovely but there were numerous problems and guest services had constant queues throughout the cruise. Our drinks package wasn't added to the cards along with hundreds of others, we had a few minor problems with the cabin and we didn't get any chocolates on our pillows, even ...

First Sailing on Refurbished Millennium - Almost 5 Stars

We booked this cruise over a year ago based on the Singapore, Viet Nam and Hong Kong Itinerary. Unbeknownst to us, this was going to be the first cruise after the Millenium was being refurbished in dry-dock. The ship was being "touched up" right up to the time we sailed and throughout the sailing. We were told to arrive any time between 11:30 AM and 3:30 AM. Registration was fairly ...

Good but watch out for the hidden charges

At embarkation we had to show our passports about four times and then they took them off us!!! The ship was in excellent condition following a recent re-fit but more attention should have been given to the outstanding snags. The food was very good in the standard restaurants but the world class dining (extra £35 per head) was certainly not world class and bore no resemblance to the menu shown ...

Never go on a cruise after a refit

What can I say, from the moment we got to our stateroom which had no electricity it felt like deck 9 was not completed. We were offered a stateroom on deck 10 only to find someone else’s case on the bed and their shoes at the side of the bed. We duly reported this and was told that’s not possible, not nice to be doubted, the room had not been allocated to anyone. The paintwork on the balcony was ...

The ship wasn’t completed after its refit, meanining there was on going work during the cruise.... at one point we couldn’t even keep our cabin door closed and locked.... nothing worse than having a drink with crew sanding the deck, the crew themselves were first class as was the food, the entertainment was pretty good as well.... as a overall picture I would probably cruise with you again as long ...

Newly refurbished very smart ship with a few teething problems but incredible staff

This was our first cruise with Celebrity and were just lucky it had a total makeover in dry dock January 2019 just prior to our sailing. We had Aqua Class and expected Priority Check-in, mistakingly believing this meant Priority boarding. We had quite a wait to embark and felt it was the one thing that Aqua Class was missing to make the experience extra special. So this is the significant ...
