This was our 10th cruise with Celebrity and cruise 2 of a back to back. We also previously sailed on this ship last year.
The staff are excellent in the main and when we highlighted difficulties made great efforts to resolve them.
Our cabin was a balcony near the front on deck 7 and chosen because we didn’t want to move cabins on our second cruise. In hindsight it was not the best choice as ...
First a disclaimer: We booked this cruise as a substitute for a November 2017 cruise that was canceled by Celebrity for a charter. This was the only cruise we could choose and transfer our post cruise trip to Siem Reap....cost more and we lost a one of a kind itinerary to a charter.
I am a fan of Celebrity's M class ships.... just right size for me with the amenities I want. I have no ...
i chose this cruise so i could see some of southeast asia. however the ports were 1.5 - 2.5 hours away from the city we were suppossed to be visiting. for example for a 4 hour excursion to bangkok you spent 5 hours in a bus. 2.5 hours there & another 2.5 hours back to the ship
the windows in the reflections lounge- site of the captains club nightly free cocktails- were so dirty you couldn't ...
We did a back to back, the first is the 14 night Vietnam and after the 15 night India.
The first cruise was not so good and definitely not the Celebrity standard. It was not well maintained, very dirty when we got onboard the first day. It did improve over the course of the cruise. The furniture for the sunset deck was sticky and just felt dirty all the time.
The rest was adequate though, ...
IST cruise and a big disappointment.Chose itinerary and company based on friends and reputation of Celebrity. All my life have been told that the dining/food is an amazing experience.Well it's NOT on the Constellation.
Main restaurant San Marco was extremely poor for food quality and standards of service.eg first meal asked for a table for two....only to be sat in a row with my wife further away ...
The Celebrity Constellation cruise through Asia on January 29, 2018 (stateroom 9107?) was very disappointing. There were sales pitches from day one. People were expected to buy a drink package, a spa treatment, a la carte meals, your socks washed for $3, Internet for $299, overpriced tours 3 hours away. Since I paid double fare, you would think I'd be given extra perks. I was alone. Anytime a ...
Got a good price for this cruise, and a friend had never been to Singapore, Thailand, nor Vietnam, so we went for it! Embarkation was very quick and smooth, even though Celebrity sent mixed messages to passengers beforehand. We stayed in a cabin on Deck 2 and were asked to embark at 6:30pm even though our Dining Room was scheduled for 6:15pm. Took forever for Celebrity to reply to my email ...
We chose this cruise for its interesting itinerary. We weren't disappointed.
Embarkation: Singaporean efficiency at its best.
KO SAMUI: Tenders take passengers from the ship to the wharf at the town of Ko Samui. From there you can get a taxi to take you to either Fisherman's Village or one of the other beach resorts on the North coast of the island. We paid THB 3,000 and were taken to ...
As we have sailed three times recently on the Summit, a sister ship to the Constellation, we were looking forward to seeing how they compared.
They are both, what would now be considered, elderly ships but in our opinion Celebrity have done a pretty good job at keeping them well maintained and looking in good shape, we also continue to be impressed with the standards of cleanliness on board. ...
Compared to other cruises this ship seems very tired, there were no entertainment staff pushing shows and events and you were left to actively seek out entertainment and shows.I found some of the staff very rude and condescending especially guest services ,the drinks were very hit and miss one good cocktail out of three, they ran out of certain beers very quickly and the best they could do was offer ...
