We were amazed how large the cabin was. There was a large lounge with dinning area and balcony. The master bedroom was large and also a smaller second bedroom with bunk beds. The cabin was about three times larger than a standard cabin. It was a little worn in areas but was very clean and our attendant kept it that way. There was just one bad point the curtains in the main bedroom were not good, worn, bad fitting and letting in lots of light. We had to use eye shades which we brought in Copenhagen our first stop. We would definitely book this room again as liked the space but you have to pay extra when only two people as meant for five. Read Less

Silhouette Family Veranda Cabin #8108: Sailing out of Rome on June, 12, 2012. We are a family of 5, 3 adults and 2 teens, ages 15 and 17. When reserving a cabin where 5 occupants are required, one would expect proper bedding for all on an upscale ship. But, the master bdrm had 2 beds, the 2nd bdrm, which is very small, had an upper and lower bunk bed, and the living area had a narrow sofa attached to the wall, with no pullout sofa bed or trundle, leaving the 5th person having to sleep on the sofa, which is much narrower than a twin bed. The cabin is advertised with a sofabed in the living area, so beware. We had expected 2 adults in the master, the 3rd adult in the 2nd bdrm in a twin bed, and the teens on a pull out sofa bed or trundle. There is a small closet with very limited storage in the 2nd bdrm, space so small, you can barely turn around. There is a closet and storage in the master, but no mirror on the wall, making it inconvenient to dress without coming out into the living area. There is no wardrobe for hanging clothes for the person sleeping on the sofa. There was some noise and vibration at port arrivals and departures, a minor distraction. With all the advertised square footage, this cabin was a disappointment Read Less
