Excellent cruise; interesting ports

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Celebrity Summit

We booked this cruise to use up a pre-pandemic credit from 2019. (Multiple intervening attempts failed.) We are grateful to Celebrity for the credit, for the extensions they granted to those of us with credits, and for getting back to sailing. We went to Reykjavik six days early. There is plenty to do in Iceland and a mere port stop or a day or day is insufficient. Everyone we met was ...

Ship needs to be updated

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

We chose this cruise for my daughters 30th. We wanted to go repelling in Skagway as that’s what we did with my dad on our last cruise together. When we boarded the cruise we learned that our excursion had been canceled. I was on Equinox and Reflection in last year and Solstice was definitely in need of an update. The air conditioning was not functioning well in our cabin. They installed new ...

This was our second Celebrity cruise. Our first was on the Reflection a few months before this cruise. My husband and I both agree we like the vibe better on Reflection. The two ships, however, are identical, with a few exceptions. Our ship was close to 80% full. Embarkation and disembarkation were quick and very organized in Fort Lauderdale. We were on board with access to our cabin by ...

The Ship was in good condition I think there could have been more activities for kids, although they had the kids club the kids did quite like the hideaway. The food was amazing all of it was good I think the buffet could of had been a bit more elevated. The speciality dining was very good I would recommend the pistachio crème brûlée at the Tuscan Grill. The bars were very nice, the cocktail bar ...

Better than expected service---but worst food experience on any of our18 Celebrity cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

We chose this ship specifically after being on the Edge and Apex for our past 6 cruises. We wanted the true martini bar experience along with the ability to choose from bars at many other locations on the ship--Sky bar, passport bar, world bar, ensemble lounge...where the Edge class ships limit that type of experience. We also got tired of not being able to find a seat on the Edge class ships ...

I've been on other AK cruises with Holland and Princess, but we decided to try Celebrity this time. The AK cruise is easy from Northern CA, at least it was before Covid. This time we flew to Seattle 2 days early, because there have been so many delays on airlines. We stayed one night in Tacoma and one night in the Belltown area of Seattle. My 41 year old daughter was traveling with me, this was ...

Some Hits and Some Misses - Overall Acceptable Cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

This is my second and our parents fifth Alaska cruise since the restart so I think I have some perspective. Overall, this was a good cruise, and everyone in our party agreed that we would be open to cruising with Celebrity again. The biggest plus with this cruise were the employees. They were all, without exception, friendly and (importantly) competent. We have been on many cruises over the years ...

This cruise was rescheduled from the summer of 2020. This was my 4th Alaskan cruise on the Solstice with previous cruises 2016-2018. I was told there were 2600 passengers on the ship not quite full capacity. We completed all of our onboard information online in advance of the cruise. This was our 7th Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. Embarkation was very chaotic. We arrived at our scheduled time. Our ...

My daughter and I were with a group of 74. I am an single leg amputee and a full time electric wheelchair user. The embarking and disembarking process was very efficient. The staff in the buffet was extremely helpful in carrying and filling your plate and locating a table. The food was great in the MDR and the buffet. Specialty dining with Le Petit Chef was outstanding and the filet mignon very ...

Celebrity- We thought you were upscale? You can't hold a candle to Holland America.

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

User Avatar

Take it from a die-hard Holland America fan, we thought if we spent more, we would enjoy more on the Celebrity Constellation. We cruise a few times a year. We rented a family suite on the Constellation, a splurge if you will for just us "2" that featured an oversized balcony on the back of the ship. The room turned out to be the only quiet we could find in the 10 days we sailed. It was a ...
