Ship is great, Medium Size, Easy to get around. We sail about 6 times a year. This was our 4th on Celebrity.
Ship only had 1200 passengers on this sailing. We have sailed on the Summit and the Infinity before.
My wife was on the Summit 2 months ago and she said it was great.

Room Steward - Very Slow, Left for dinner at 530pm come back at 8pm and room still hasn't been ...
The food was exceptional. The buffet was the best on any ship and I mean any ship. Tuscan Grill was WOW. It just wins as one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Their cakes were disgusting though. However food on the ship is important but does not make the cruise on its own.
Activities were very lack luster. There was no BINGO which was weird. They also showed Whitney Huston movie 8 times and ...
We chose this cruise to celebrate our anniversary/birthdays. The itinerary ports of call were some of our favorite islands and we had been extremely impressed on our previous Celebrity cruises with the food and service. This was our first return to a ship since the pandemic, so we were very excited to return.
We had stayed overnight in San Juan and were able to embark at 12:00. The process was ...
I have cruised with Celebrity on six other occasions. I would classify my opinion of this cruise line as 'Avis...we try harder!'
So many years ago, I took a cheap cruise on one of their older ships from Bayone, New Jersey to Bermuda. Only half the ship was full, yet the service and food was exemplary ! I asked one of the wine stewards what that was all about. He agreed that this frequently ...
Staff Great but Ship Needs to Retire
Don't book room 9042, Cabin review follows. Dated, uncomfortable, obstructed view and Aqua Class Bathroom is a joke.
Upon arrival, was astonished at the ease of embarking considering the Corona Virus issue. Didn't seem like much screening and no questions asked. Food just Okay, entertainment bearable. Seems like they hide the talented individual ...
Not a bad trip, but the biggest letdown was the customer service after the cruise. Let this be a warning to make sure you get things settled before leaving the ship, because Celebrity Cruise lines will not help you afterwards. Without getting into a long rant here, the after cruise department basically told me that yes, we did not provide you with a service you paid for and that its ...
We selected the Summit because of the literary, even though we knew it was an older ship with limited venues. While we knew that the restaurant choices were also limited, the reviews online suggested that the food and the wine was good.
We were impressed how clean and modern the ship was, and the crew was amazing!!! However, things went south when when we went to the wine bar and found that ...
This ship is being taken out of the waters in February for renovations and should have been taken out a year ago! Not only the condition of this ship was well below average with its horrible smells to the point of having to move lounge chairs to higher deck because of bad smells to the below average food and service. All my pre-vacation preparations I did were not on record. By this I mean, ...
I would neither recommend Celebrity Cruise Lines nor the Celebrity Summit to my fellow cruisers. Our cruise in January 2017 on the Celebrity Reflection is still our best cruise ever. But, as my wife and I have found, you have to go on the newest ships to get the best food, the best service, the best entertainment, etc. When you go on an older ship, everything declines. Yes, that means that you ...
Greetings, One and All. By my guesstimate, this was my 12th cruise, though my first repositioning sailing. In total transparency... I readily admit it's been ten years since my last one...also on the Summit where I had 3 adjoining, balcony rooms... Kids and Godparents necessitated that togetherness. That being said, you know it's a bad omen when you show up at the cruise terminal four hours prior ...
