We were very excited about this cruise and choose celebrity with its great reputation and with this ship having so many sea days we wanted to make sure we had great food and great entertainment... we were in an aqua spa suit with balcony and on first impressions although it was dated it was very clean so we were happy well this didn’t last long... our room was above the main buffet so it was noisy ...
We chose this cruise line because of the itinerary and that is the only reason, three days in Israel. Three cabins, two generations of cruisers. We have been on lots of cruises, never on Celebrity and never again!
Let me start with the positive: big upgraded rooms (we paid for this!) nice staff.
Now the negative:
we paid to upgrade my parents, we show up at entry, there is no cabin ...
It was the worse cruise we have ever been on. On getting to Rome Port the ship wasn’t there due to bad weather which they were aware of 24 hours beforehand. We then had to wait over 6 hours on a hard chair (if you were lucky to get one) and all we were offered was a small bottle of water and a small packet of crackers which they run out of so we only got 1 to share. When we got to our cabin it ...
We chose those cruise because it was going to places that we wanted to visit and also ports we have never been to be. Right from start it was horrific. We arrived at Rome port to find the ship not there. We were told there would be at least a delay of 6 hours due to bad weather. During that wait, which the cruise company were aware of all we were offered was a small bottle of water and a small ...
Celebrity Constellation – Sailing date 19th October 2018
Having booked several Celebrity cruises over last 4 years we decided we will never cruise with Celebrity again. Let me explain why.
The good
Without a shadow of a doubt, the best thing about Celebrity (with a few exceptions) is its very hardworking and dedicated staff.
The bad
(1) The food on Celebrity used to be oh so ...
Western Mediterranean cruise Positives: Stateroom # 2176 Butler-Nelson was excellent as was room attendant Xavier. The ship staff was very friendly. Dining and beverage: Luminea Dining selection just okay. We frequently ordered from the MDR menu. Four entrees were offered each of the eleven nights. Shrimp were slightly larger than popcorn shrimp were served on a piece of lettuce. Not ...
Was told good value for money how wrong ,on arrival herded into cattle shed total chaos ,herds of unsupervised children running around ship ,rip off shore exscursions ,food in fine dining well below par ,tried to squeeze every extra dollar out of you , made up charges which had to spend time to get reimbursed, entertainment seen better at holiday camps ,senior staff admonishing general staff in ...
I have never been so disappointed on a cruise before and have cruised over 40 cruises.
I want to download my review but am unable to paste on this site for some reason.
The whole experience was so disappointing and we were expecting so much. No WOW factor, the dress code was stupid and not adhered to - yet to see anyone check 'designer jeans' on the 'chic nite' which was meant to be ...
Below is a review of our recent cruise on the Equinox. Our reference point for our review of this cruise is our Eastern Mediterranean cruise last August on the Reflection. We were relatively pleased with our cruise last year. Last year we were in Aqua class, no complaints about the Stateroom, we had a mixed experience food wise in Blu but had a horrible waiter who turned us off the restaurant, we ...
This was out first cruise and without doubt our last cruise with this "modern luxury" cruise line.
We have written to Celebrity customer services to voice our issues with our holiday which in total cost us over £6000. It comes as absolutely no surprise that we have yet to receive a reply.
Celebrity Equinox in our opinion is best described as a floating Moroccan market place. It is ...
