This is our 3rd journey on the Reflection. What's not to love? The ship is easy to meander, we never feel lost. Blu as well as the MDR serve great food. The lounges range from wild and crazy to laid back and relaxing. Cafe al Bacio is my favorite mid-day spot for an Irish coffee and a fresh pastry. This time I didn't even use my free coupon for a scoop of Gelato. Not sure why, but there was never ...
The ship has held up beautifully. All the common spaces were immaculate. Our cabin was well cared for with one expectation. The divider between verandas had broken loose and was banging with the wind. It took maintenance two tries to repair the problem.
Problems: Late seating in the MDR was sparse. Our original table was for six. Only one other couple. The next night we were moved to a ...
Celebrity Reflection Review
We are a couple in our 70s, departing February 2020 for 11 nights in the western Caribbean after a 5 night stay in Ft. Lauderdale. This was our 3d ocean cruise. We chose this itinerary because of the length and the places we had not visited before. We booked in December and the room choice was limited. We chose an ocean view room on deck 3, midship, no veranda. ...
Itinerary included Dutch Caribbean islands we'd never been to. Took off-ship excursions which were good. Celebrity excursions are more expensive and sometimes large. Islands were very nice.
After embarkation, everyone heads to the iLounge to set up wi-fi. There was one employee working for scores of people.
Entertainment generally excellent. Production shows much better than in years past ...
We’ve not sailed the Reflection since 2014, and were pleased to see it so immaculately clean. Our C3 cabin #8279 was close to the aft, in a quiet corridor with just some minor vibrations. However it was about 300 steps to the bow elevators to head up to the Sky Lounge. The weather started out mild and warmed up as we headed south to Cartagena, Columbia and the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and ...
The Celebrity Reflection is a great ship. The food was excellent. Two of the ports were not worth stopping at, Colon and Limon. Boy was it hot and humid in Cartagena but it is a very nice city.
I think the cruise line could have more late night activity for us singles.
Martini bar closes about 12:30 and the casino bar closed early also.
Where was the dance music after midnight.
I met ...
Our second time on the ship was excellent. Th ship has wonderful, friendly and attentive staff. The ship is kept in top notch condition. We enjoyed the option of the indoor pool when it was to hot to stay out in the direct sun for more than a few hours. The entertainment, both on board staff and visiting entertainers was super. We ate at four of the specialty restaurants, and made sure to buy ...
On the Reflection for an 11-day cruise to Grand Cayman, Cartagena, Panama, Costa Rica, Cozumel. All in all, pretty good. The ship was well-maintained and it didn't seem overly crowded. Staff generally friendly and helpful, especially in main dining room.
The food was very good. However, a number of dishes had too much salt. Even with that, it was as good food as I've had on a cruise. I'd give ...
First off our cabin attendant Gusti was amazing, I don't know how he was so good at getting or room cleaner and organized when we hardly ever saw him. A very pleasant individual and interesting to talk to.
Our MD room head waiter Ronald and his assistant Greg where wonderful. One of the gentlemen with us has an allergy and Ronald was right on top of it. Even questioning some of the items that ...
Celebrity Reflection, March 11, 2019, veranda cabin 6199
We consider the Celebrity Reflection the best ship in the fleet currently. The ship itself is in excellent condition and is well run by the staff. This particular cruise was essentially up to the standards expected of Celebrity. The food and service were generally good. There were no issues with deck chair availability. My time ...
