We chose this cruise because we have cruised with Celebrity a number of times and this ship twice before. We already have 2 more cruises booked on the Reflection. Of more than 35 cruises over the past 25 years, we have found Celebrity in general and Reflection in particular, to be the best. The ship is beautiful and always sparking clean. The food is excellent. We usually get a small suite and that gives us access to Luminae, the suite special restaurant with its own chef. the food is excellent and the staff at Luminae is made up of the best of the best. They are warm and inviting and constantly strive to make your experience fantastic. Our waiter this time was Jose whose menu recommendations were always spot on. The ship truly is spic and span with constant cleaning including the public rest rooms. Tours were very good. In Rome, we actually booked private tours with a company not affiliated with the ship. All around Italy (info@allarounditaly.com) with Fabrizio and Valentino. They were fantastic. In 2 days, we saw more of Rome than we ever could have in a week on our own. Drove us in a Mercedes van directly to the Vatican and Colosseum as well as many other sites and their English was excellent. The entertainment on Reflection was varied and top quality. The ship's band was excellent as well. Overall, I cannot think of enough superlatives for this ship and its crew. Read Less

My wife and I love this ship. Luxury is a keynote in describing Reflection. Food in dining room is 5 star and speciality restaurants are 10 star, especially Tuscan Grill, Morano, Qsine. The Lawn Club Grill put on a special called ULTIMATE BAR B Q and it was beyond anything we have ever experienced. Starting with a Cocktail party on the big lawn, we engaged with ship staff officers in the most one on one we have every had. Then in dining, they presented an incredible menu. We were deciding what we would order, when the wait staff advised that the ENTIRE menu would be delivered to us! Wine was served as part of the meal. STarting with Fillet Skewers, then Shrimp (Tasted like Lobster), then Pork, the Lobster and ending with Ribeye! All cooked to perfection and any guest was permitted to do his/her own cooking! MOST FUN WE HAVE EVER HAD ON A SHIP! WE ARE 30+ CRUISES AND THIS WAS THE BEST! ONLY NEGATIVE!!! The claiming of luggage was the poorest we have EVER experienced on ANY cruise. 1 hour and 33 minutes upon arriving at the carousels, we finall got our bags. No sitting this whole time and many people with problems were not accomodated and had to suffer this incredibly mismanaged fiasco! What happend to the 20 minute depot of all luggage in groups????? We always wanted to visit a lot of the islands, countries we went to so the eastern cruise was ideal, but most stops were to short and land excursions were to rushed and very expensive we thought. The ship entertainment, food, and crew was as to be expected fantastic. But if I could change a few things that would be to get celebrity to stop charging for so many things on top of the already expensive cruise, things like wifi (free in all holiday hotels we go to) fitness classes yoga etc + various other things they feel the need to charge extra for, what's next paying for sun beds ? (They also need to clamp down on sun bed reservation ) we even had one couple had 2beds in the sun and as we found out at lunch time 2 in the shade next to us that they had left empty all morning, they got a piece of mind for that but they didnt care a bit, so after they went dinner I removed all their towels from all 4 beds so when they come back some one else had their beds LOL. The new internet unlimited package for $149 was fantastic! The speed was excellent and I used it all over the ship and got the same speed! Thanks Celebrity. The ship weathered very high seas well and got us across the Atlantic in style. The Oceanview Cafe has great food that is available all the time during the day and late into the evening. I am not too sure about the new "chic" dress style. Still having a formal night or two would be nice since it gives the ladies a chance to wear their evening clothes and jewelry. I wish Celebrity would change the ports of call on the Transatlantic crossings since we do it twice a year and are a bit tired of going to the same ports every time. The entertainment was quite good this crossing especially the "Flashers", a group of 4 male singers who do great harmony. They were also in charge of the choir and did a fabulous job of training the group to perform with them in the atrium. It would be great to have them on the next cruise and work with the choir again. I have been in the choir many times and would like to have a performance on the main stage that is well miked and give the audience a chance to hear how great the choir can be. Our cabin #6135 had a bad noise in the ceiling. We complained three times, but were told that they were unable to fix it. I definitely feel that this cabin should be taken out of service until it can be fixed! Read Less

We took the opportunity to upgrade to Aqua class and it made all the difference in the world for us. The dining experience was the highlight of the ship experience. The itinerary was really good and we got lucky to have the over night in Istanbul before the cruise lines pulled it. We can't say enough about all the wonderful ports but Istanbul was incredible, We loved the Greek Island and the Amalfi coast. What's not to like - terrific ports, fabulous ship with all the amenities you can ever ask for from a large ship. Will only travel in Aqua class moving forward with Celebrity. The food is terrific in all the dining venues but the personalized service every night in Blu can't be beat. Murano;s specialty dining was our favorite of the three or four onboard. Service onboard was the best we have had from any of our most resent sailings. The Reflection is a beautiful ship, and we will sail on her again. Read Less
