Ports of call especially Greece were the main reasons for this cruise. After several cruises with Celebrity and a wonderful cruise on the Silhouette in April we were looking forward to this cruise. The ship is the largest of the Celebrity Solstice fleet and the least well run of all Celebrity ships. From useless Guest relations staff and management to incompetent food preparation services, we ...
We first flew into Rome and spent 3 days touring the city. This is a must. Absolutely loved Rome. Having never been on a cruise before we were not sure what to expect. Checking into the ship was a breeze and so well organized. This took us approximately 15 mins. We were soon up on the top deck with a drink in our hands leaving the luggage to be taken to our room later. The ship was ...
We wanted to visit all the ports of call and wasn't disappointed they were terrific. From arriving and getting on the Reflection we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble for our cabin boy Antony who went out of his way to help us. I have a back problem and have to take my own foam mattress wherever we go. He immediately made the bed up for me without us having to remind him as we ...
Wonderful tasteful ship. My husband and I enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary on board ship, and the staff went out of their way to help us celebrate. Luminae was wonderful, and regret that we took the dining package to leave that wonderful dining room, although enjoyed Murano and Tuscany. Qsine and LawnClub were OK. Michaels Club was our getaway from the crowds, just wish we had a view of the ...
To celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, we explored both Venice and Rome for a few days before we boarded the ship. It was nice to have a chance to spend time in those remarkable cities to see the historical sites and the beauty of each city! Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and efficient. Rome Cabs picked us up from our hotel in Rome at 10:00 am and dropped us off at the port ...
We chose this cruise due to the ports and only 2 sea days. We spent 3 days in rome prior to boarding the ship - rome was incredible! the embarkment process was so smooth and we were on-board so quickly!
The food in the main dining room was wonderful and the service fantastic. My only complaint is that on sea days - unless you were up very early - it was nearly impossible to find a place to ...
Having always wanted to see Santorini and Athens this cruise was a must. We weren't disappointed and enjoyed every port of call. We did two ship tours, two private tours and on the other days we did our own thing and everything worked out perfectly.
Embarkation and disembarkation went without a hitch - very quick.
The Reflection was a beautiful ship and it was a pleasure to be on board. ...
We chose this cruise because we fell in love with the ship when we sailed on it 3 years ago. This time we decided to splurge on a Sky Suite and we were very happy with the suite experience. The room was huge, the balcony was huge, bathroom was great. It was always cleaned immaculately. There was some type of odd overhang above the Sky Suites and we weren't thrilled that it blocked the sun. These ...
My husband and I decided on this cruise for our combination first anniversary and honeymoon, and decided to splurge on a Sky Suite. Even though it was quite expensive, it was so worth it for the included premium beverage package, free wifi, onboard credit and use of the restaurant Luminae. We ate at Luminae all but 3 nights of the cruise and had wonderful meals there each time, while getting ...
We haven't cruised since 2006 and decided to treat ourselves for our 30th wedding anniversary. From start to finish everything was perfect - arrival quayside we were in our cabin in 10mins. Cabin was fantastic and bowled over by all the space, warrdrtobe, cupboards, drawers right down to the bathroom with excellent shower facilities with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Balcony was way bigger than ...
