Beautiful ship! Advice on Mykonos and Santorini

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

Overall, the Celebrity Reflection is a beautiful and almost brand new ship, and if you've been on other cruises you realize the newer boats make your cruise a little bit nicer. The ship has been built around all the modern conveniences we expect, ie. wifi, hdtv, well designed staterooms, more verandas available, ect. The ship offers many specialty restaurants that seemed desperate for more ...

Interesting ports in the eastern mediterranean

This was our 3rd cruise with Celebrity. We had a western mediterranean on the Silhouette and a transatlantic on the Eclipse before. We booked this cruise especially for the ports of call (Messina - Mykonos - Kusadasi - Rhodes - Santorini - Piraeus (Athens) - Naples). The ports provide a lot of historical sites to see and in most ports it's easy to go on your own. The ship is very clean and the ...

Not as Good as Before, but Still a Great Cruise

I would have given this review a rating of 3.5, if I could have, but a 'very good' grade seems in order, too. Celebrity is our line of choice. We have been loyal to it for eighty percent of the cruises we have done over the past eleven years. We love the Solstice class ships, and have been on a good few of them in their inaugural years. They are certainly beautiful vessels, with every amenity ...

Our first time with Celebrity and we enjoyed a fabulous cruise around the Eastern Med. Just a quick review to share some of our thoughts. THE GOOD: . Embarkation – Couldn’t have been smoother. Arrived around 11:30am and were onboard within 15 minutes. The ship – Beautiful. Extremely clean. Very easy to navigate around. The itinerary – Exceptionally good ports of call, especially Mykonos and ...

Beautiful itinerary, beautiful ship, but a bit disappointed

Beautiful itinerary, beautiful ship, but a bit disappointed as we were expecting a little bit more from Celebrity. We have cruised 4 times with other companies. First we have book Concierge Class, but did not see a difference compared to passed cruise with Balcony (regular class), aside from the Bottle of Champagne on arrival and little snacks at the end of the day. I would not pay anymore the ...

Fantastic Eastern Med Itinerary. Fab cruise for our older teen!

The Reflection is a really beautiful, contemporary ship. The style, layout & overall ambience is excellent. Having done 4 med cruises now, we were looking for a new itinerary. So this is why we chose this cruise. Most people onboard were couples & families with older children. Also, there was a really good European mix, with some Americans & Austrailians, so you don't feel it's all the Brits ...

We have cruised a number of times (20+) on a number of lines. I would have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the level of service and some of the amenities. I have never gone on a seven day let alone eleven day cruise where the cabin stewards never once addressed me by my name. The staff at the gym was great but the dressing area in the men's locker room is something like 45 square feet. ...

Beautiful Ship but Terrible Concierge Service

We chose Celebrity for the itinerary. Our ports of call were Santorini, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Athens, Mykonos, and Naples. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and took our 2 adult sons and our 1 "tween" son. Embarkation was easy since we came directly from the airport and it was early. The food is very good in the main dining room. We ate at the Tuscan Grill one evening. Food was delicious, ...

Very good cruise...but much older than expected

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

The celebrity reflection was our first cruise with Celebrity. We were attracted because of their "modern luxury" marketing and on a friends recommendation. Perhaps because of the itinerary and date, or the following transatlantic crossing the crowd was very old. Optional dining options were good, especially the lawn club grill and Q-sine - however they didn't compare to the onshore style ...

I was disappointed in the Ship

Our cruise started and ended in Rome and sailed to Sicily, Athens, Turkey (Kusadasi), Rhodes, Santorini, Mykonos, and Naples. We also had 2 days at sea. The ports of call were wonderful--we stayed all day at most of them, so had time to do full day tours. So the cruise itself was great. However, I was very disappointed in the ship. I had heard so much about the Solstice ships, I was looking ...
