4th time on Reflection 10 day cruise - Came home with COVID.
Cabins poor furnishings.
Cabins will not be refurbished until 2026 it can't be about $$$ with all the new ships Celebrity's launching more likely forcing people to Edge class ships without natural balconies.
MDR food improving but staff service slow overworked.
Oceanview cafe too many Indian dishes , raw chicken in one ...
Got back to cruising about 10 years ago and have cruised Celebrity exclusively (approx 10 cruises) since. I looked forward to being on the Reflection again after two consecutive cruises on the Edge. I have always liked the main dining room experience over the years. However on this cruise, I was a bit dissapointed. Waiter/Asst. Waiter service was okay. They took our order and delivered our ...
We’ve been long time loyal Celebrity Cruisers, but our current cruise has been lack luster on almost every imaginable level. What was once a strong dining experience is now mundane and in most cases the food lacks not just originality but taste! The buffets were at best disgustingly mediocre, all but Tuscan Grill specialty restaurants were similar. Not sure if this is just Reflection or if ...
What a great cruise! This was our eighth cruise and it didn't disappoint. Boarding couldn't have been easier. We had the 11:00-11:30 time slot. We got to the ship at about 10:50 and were checking out our room by 11:30. That delay was because of customs holding up the show for about 20 minutes. The ship was very clean and bright and the staff were constantly keeping up with any issues that might ...
This was our 1st cruise since pandemic shut down. We bit the bullet, booked and boy oh boy was it good to be on board again. We weren’t the only passengers who were ecstatic to be sailing! Guests and crew alike were open and friendly. The weather was iffy, seas little rough sometimes but overall a good cruise, totally enjoyed and worth it!
Problems: it took until the 3rd night for the MDR ...
We sailed the Reflection for our second wedding anniversary. It rained almost nonstop on Embarkation Day and the ship was late docking into port as a result of the early morning storm. This meant early arrivals had to wait in two consecutive areas before boarding the ship. We made it onboard about 11:20 and spent time dropping our bags, picking up Seapass cards, reporting to Muster station, ...
Had not cruised since May 2019 aboard the Freedom of the Seas. Were in Florida and decided to explore a last minute cruise. Majority of past cruises have been on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. After exploring the cruise critic site and looking at reviews we decided on the Celebrity Reflection because of the reviews, perceived upscale environment and price. We enjoyed the cruise, however we had ...
This was our 36th cruse and the first in 2 1/2 years due to COVID. We have taken our last five cruises on Celebrity (Equinox and Edge) and looked forward to our return to cruising for the first time on Reflection. Many of the small items expected were missing on this cruise. No champagne upon boarding, mediocre food, passengers smoking in their rooms. no french fries for the first 4 days. Limited ...
We chose this cruise as a warm weather getaway. We met quite a few cruisers from the north with the same idea. We specifically chose the Reflection as we have sailed on the Solstice many times and loved the ship and exceptional service provided by the crew.
Embarkation was very easy. Our assigned time was 11. We arrived on time and were quickly checked in. Took about 10 minutes. We were then ...
We had an 11 o'clock boarding time and were actually on the ship at 11. We went to our room to drop our carry-on on picked up information for our concierge lunch. Went to explore ship and have a cocktail before lunch. They changed the lunch up a bit to beef bourgignon instead of short ribs. It was tasty. DHs chicken was a bit dry.
We went back to our cabin, luggage was there and met our ...
