Mediocre food, 3rd rate entertainment, not a great experience

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

The ship is relatively new, clean and well staffed. Our cabin was pretty much standard for concierge class booking. The problem was the dining. The Buffet was very unappetizing, the food was greasy, fatty, and basically not very good. The main dining room was adequate but not anything special. The variety was poor and not well prepared. All of the meat was well done no matter how you ordered it. I ...

TRIP REPORT – Celebrity Reflection – 12/8/17 to 12/18/17 Concierge Cabin 1091 – excellent location Embarkation – Awful. Arrived at 11 or so and headed to Concierge line without checking to see how long standard entry line was. Only 6 cashiers for Concierge line so we had a very long wait. We were a bit disappointed at appearance of Reflection both inside and outside. Expected ...

This was our first cruise on Reflection after cruising on the Silhouette 3 times. The ships are very similar which was nice. The embarkation was a bit longer than we have previously encountered in the Port, but once on the ship our relaxing vacation began with the welcoming glass of champagne. Once are cabin was ready I was very happy to see how clean the room was and our luggage was delivered ...

We chose this sailing as we had booked it 2 years ago and had to fly home after 2 days due due to a family illness, we chose Aquaclass having twice sailed at that level before and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience in the Blu Restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our cruise meeting some interesting people some of whom we remain in touch with but there were disappointments especially the dining ...

Celebrity Reflection Ultimate Caribbean 12/8-12/18 2017 PREPARATION: I did a lot of research, or so I thought, prior to booking this cruise. My only other cruise was on Holland America Eurodam in 2011, great cruise, we really enjoyed it. I started doing my research 1 year in advance. Initially we booked on Princess, but due to some scheduling issues we canceled that cruise and ...

What an adventure! Our trip began in Tallahassee on December 7 as we drove to Ft. Lauderdale. We stayed at the Marriot Residency Inn in Dania Beach (a 10-minute drive to the port). The hotel is fairly new and we enjoyed our stay. We had an excellent fish dinner at the Rendezvous Restaurant at the marina about a mile from the hotel (one of our favorite spots). For the convenience, we parked ...

I have held of my review of Celebrity Reflection for 6 Months and we are still awaiting Celebrity investigation report in to our cruise. My wife and I have sailed on 22 cruise now and this was by far our worst. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We live in the UK and prefer to travel to the States as we have found the whole customer experience so much better and friendlier. Needless ...

We cruised on the Celebrity Reflection last year and decided to take it for Thanksgiving as family and friends were booking it. We always like the service on Celebrity and enjoyed having Marten again as our Cruise Director. In July on the Equinox we were told that the menus change every 2 years. Ready for that change as entrees did not impress us. Had a wonderful waitress who on the next ...

Really enjoyed our Caribbean Cruise. First time with Celebrity, found it well organized, clean, good selection of things to do. Had fun in the Casino. Pretty good payouts. I won the slot tournament which was fun :) $500 !! Food very good, lots of selection in the buffet. We mainly ate in Blu for dinner as we weren't super excited with Luminae. The food choices were kinda weird.. We were in Sky ...

We traveled with our Senior Citizen daughter who had not been on this itinerary before but had vacation time so we brought her along. We were in a Signature Suite so we had ample room and privacy from a closed door between our bedroom and her fold-out bed. We did not take any excursions while she went ashore on St. Kitts, on Antigua and on St. Lucia. She told us she thoroughly enjoyed her ship ...
