The room was nice and roomie, not to mention extremely clean. Cyril was amazing at keeping our towels replenished and beds made/turned down. We had breakfast delivered every morning and our butler set it up every morning on our balcony, which was enjoyable and a great way to start each day. Our butler knew we liked Club Soda with Lime and made certain we were replenished daily. The room was close to the spa which was also convenient. We found the shower/bathtub a little high to get in/out. It was fine for us but concerned about those older. Read Less

Cabin-Sky Suite 2185 on deck 12, about 300 ft2 with a 80 ft2 balcony. This was the first time I had a deck 12 cabin. No real noise from above, as I figured there might be some noise from the pool deck above, but relatively quiet at any time of day. Not sure if I am a fan of the covered balcony though. Undecided whether it’s a plus or a minus. The Sky suite has a large amount of floor space that I never use, storage that I never use,. Furnishings, bath and balcony all beautifully maintained and fresh appearance. Read Less

Nice sized room, plenty of storage area. We probably didn't use 1/2 of what was available. I didn't particularly like the tub because the height was potentially dangerous climbing in and out. Some fellow cruisers said their tub had whirlpool features, ours did not Read Less

The suite was all the way aft. Our veranda gave us a nice view of the ship's wake and it sheltered us from some of the strong winds we experienced on this cruise. Ocassionally, we would get a little soot on the veranda from the ship's smoke stacks, but it wasn't a significant issue. To our surpise, we had a 6-8 inch diameter steel pole right in the middle of our room between the end of the bed and the dresser. Caution had to be taken when getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom to avoid an unpleasant collision. That said, it didn't annoy excessively. Being fully aft in the ship meant we had to walk the length of a football field to the nearest elevators or stairwells. Since, we like to stay fit and always use the stairs on ships to walk off the extra food we are eating, the long walk to the stairs was no issue. For others, who may have difficulty walking, beware of how big the ship is and get a room close to the elevators. The room was kept very clean and was well appointed. It was pretty quiet too. When the sliding glass door was open, the water churning behind the ship sounded like we were near a waterfall. Read Less

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Our Butler and his team were most professional and excellent! We did not experience any noise from the Oceanview Cafe above us and did not mind the balcony overhang...balcony was not windy and very private for those long sea days...great for reading and a nap! we booked a Guarantee Sky Suite and were assigned the cabin 2192 (an Accessible Cabin) in deck 12. We were more than happy with this cabin, it´s bigger than the normal Sky Suites maybe a little bit of less closet space but it worked well for us. The Balcony was just amazing, we loved the extra space in the balcony, the full size table and the extra shadow provided in this deck. The bathroom is also bigger than normal bathrooms and doesn´t have a bathtub but the shower makes for it. Given its location under the Ocean View Cafe sometimes you could hear a little bit of noise, like a rolling something but it wasn´t really a problem, you get use to it and does not disturb at all. Cabins were ready exactly at 1:30. We had an aft Sky Suite on deck 12. For us, this was the perfect size. Enough room to relax and enjoy the room and not excessive space that we really don’t need. There was so much storage that we barely filled half of it. All light color woods which made the place larger and gave a modern look. The bathroom had a nice tub/shower combo with a large rainfall shower head and a hand held. Again, there was lots of storage with two cabinets and 4 drawers. The balcony was of nice size with a large table and 2 reclining chairs with foot stools. We had our breakfast delivered out there a couple mornings. Our butler was poor to average. Upon meeting him, he was in a hurry; he just introduced himself and didn’t really explain anything. We asked him if we needed reservations in Luminae which he said we did so we told him to get us in either at 6 or 630. He never notified us of the time he arranged and when we checked he had not made any reservations. He brought us our breakfast every morning and more than half the time forgot items. We weren’t really sure what to expect from him. Upon meeting it would have been nice for him to go over his duties and explain how to contact him at the very least. Our cabin steward was great. He was in and out like a ninja and everything was always perfect. But we are low maintenance and keep our cabin tidy. He would ask every time we saw him if we needed anything or if something wasn’t right. Read Less

The Sky Suite was quite a bit larger than a standard balcony stateroom by about 100 square feet. That gives you a much larger bathroom with bathtub/rainfall showerhead and lots of storage. I thought it was awkward getting into and out of the tub as the side is very high. There is a huge amount of storage in the cabin, large TV and upgraded balcony furniture. We never had a butler before and I'm not sure what to think. He really did not do much for us, but then we really didn't ask much of him either. He seemed pleasant enough. Our room attendant was awesome. I think it will hard to go back to the smaller Concierge cabin we booked for an Alaska cruise in August. Read Less
