No Celebrity feelings!

Review for Celebrity Reflection to Caribbean - Western

I have mixed feeling about the cruise. Embarkation and Disembarkation: Good, simple and very organized Cabin: Adequate, the inside room is spacious enough for two people. Closet and drawers are enough to store our clothes. We were able to push the luggage under the bed. We had a chair, not a couch so the room seems bigger than our cabin in Holland America. Three electrical outlets are on ...

We were on a Celebrity Reflection cruise November 29th thru December 9th. This was our 2nd Celebrity cruise. The first day kinda of got off to a rough start. Boarding was little more disorganized than we are use to. Food the first night had few issues. And first night's entertainment was awful. I was worried as I went to bed that night. But rest of cruise was wonderful. It was a 10 night ...

Excellent itinerary, beautiful ship and wonderful Staff!

We chose this cruise because it was to the Norwegian fjords and departing from Dublin, hence no need for a flight as we live in Belfast. We travelled down to Dublin on the Enterprise train, which was great and when we arrived at Connolly station a taxi was easily obtained and only a short ride required to the dock. Embarkation was rather haphazard, however when we eventually boarded the ship it ...

Plenty to do!

We wanted to end up in Dublin as one of us has a relative there and wanted to visited . We had not seen them in about 9 years. The cruise itself was excellent. Progressive Trivia was a big draw. We finished in the middle of the pack but made some good, new friends. George Latrou was the captain and Simon Akinwolere was the cruise director. Both were excellent as was the entertainment and the ...

Underwhelming

We were told by a number of people that Celebrity Cruise Lines were a step above other cruises we had taken ( mainly Princess). It wasn't. We had an inside cabin which had a large couch in it which took up so much space, we couldn't use half the closet. With limited space to start out with, this was a definite negative. The food was less than expected and on more than one occasion, they ...

Positives: 1) Fabulous ship – absolutely gorgeous, very comfortable, in pristine condition, and very well designed. I was so impressed with the cabins, pool areas, fitness area (great equipment and I used it every day), buffet set-up, theaters, shops, specialty restaurants, promenade, Nook, game room, library and more. 2) Fabulous specialty restaurants. All three we went to had great ...

Too many children!

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. Great ports. However, there were over 600 children on this cruise. They took over many of the public areas especially the pools. The older children (teenagers) were allowed in the adult only area pool and they took over much of that space. It was very difficult to relax. Felt like we were on a Disney cruise! Very disappointing! Food and entertainment ...

Truly Top of the Line

In over 50 cruises we have been on, this one ranks in the top two (the other one was the Solstice)! The ship is beautiful and the right size - not as crowded as the Oasis class, and yet every bit as sophisticated and much more comfortable. Embarkment was easy as always with Celebrity(hint: You're always better off boarding late to avoid long lines). Went straight to the cabin where ...

Nice cruise, great people, not so good shore excursions

This was our retirement cruise, 11 days and exotic ports of call (or so we thought). We thoroughly enjoyed the ship and most importantly for us the people; both guests and staff. Celebrity definately is a cut above other cruiselines we have experienced; the food was very good to excellent. The buffet although repetative was good and handled the number of people easily. We purchased the ...

We have sailed Celebrity before and had a previously purchased voucher to use. I gave my travel agent 2 time slots that fit into our schedule and chose this cruise on the Reflection based on the itinerary and the timing. Our first cruise was on Celebrity and we loved it! This time, not so much. If it hadn't been for Estelle in guest relations I would have needed to give it a lower ...
