We went on the edge to see the new type of ship celebrity was putting out.The ship was beautiful. Everything was neat and clean. We wanted to try out the new Infinite verandas and liked this 11 day itinerary. It was a perfect fit for our grandson’s two week Spring break. My wife and I took this 11 day cruise to Aruba with her high school friend and her friend's boyfriend. Pros: the food was excellent, and all the Celebrity staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the Tuscan restaurant and ate there every night of the cruise. We also believed we got a good deal on the cost of the trip and the $400 in free benefits.

We had a great experience on Celebrity a few years back, so with the south western itinerary offered, it was a good choice.

Had signed up for a 4 class barre package Friday before departure. When arrived friends went to spa and was told they were cancelled. I expected to automatically get a refund, not so. Waited 7 days and I had to go to request a refund. Poor customer service.

The cruise was great, but there were a couple of downsides. The food, room and entertainment were excellent. However, we felt that the amenities were a cut below Royal Caribbean. We are going on a RCCL cruise in April so we will be able to see which one is best after the pandemic. I was surprised that Celebrity added a $17+ charge for lobster dinner. This was always free.
