The price was right, as were the Itinerary and time of year of the cruise. We were very pleased with the cruise experience and the ports of call. This was our first cruise on Celebrity (have been on Azamara twice). We found the service on Celebrity to be outstanding. We are used to more inclusive cruises so the only drawback was being bugged for photos and a couple other things. Our room was a bit ...
Overview: After over 20 cruises, we congratulate Celebrity staff and crew on continuing to provide quality service. Perfect weather in most towns en route and amazing fall foliage colors helped us enjoy six fascinating ports in New England and Canada.
Embarkation:
Newark is a 3 hour flight from our home town. We flew up the night before. Embassy Suites provided a free shuttle from the ...
We are Elite+ travelers and usually LOVE our cruises. This time, however, we were very disappointed to find Aqua class so increased that dining in BLU became more of a chore than a treat. There is no way that the wait staff can give exclusive dining service with so many folks crowding in. At one evening meal we had a 20 minute wait for a 4 top. Two other nights also had waits, one 2 top, one 4 ...
We chose this cruise because it went to Quebec. We were disappointed in the small venue entertainment, but we were very pleased with the theater entertainment. We also, enjoyed Jim Kennedy as a speaker.
We were disappointed in the pastries and bread in the Ocean View every day. the food in the ocean view was just average too much food with sauces and too much fat. Would like to see more ...
Our cruise on the Summit was overall a good one. We have sailed with Celebrity a great number of times over the last 15 years. We usually cruise in Aqua Class because the food has been better than in the main dining room and we do enjoy the Blu restaurant seating arrangements very much. The service there continues to be excellent from everyone. Our room was very well taken care of by our Room ...
One of the smaller of the large ships. Great itinerary. Excellent staff--but standards are slipping. Food not as good as on Silhouette in its maiden year; service a bit less impressive. Even though there were fewer passengers and the ship is smaller, there often were occasions when facilities were inadequate to handle the crowds--at Oceanview Restaurant for breakfast and lunch for example and ...

We were interested in the itinerary for this cruise and the timing was right for us. We hadn't been to Canada or Nova Scotia previously. We were interested in cruising this time of year to see the fall leaf colors. The ports were great and the excursions were exceptional. We were very fortunate to meet 3 couples at dinner who we enjoyed immensely. Our waiter and assistant waiter at Table 207, ...
All in All, this was a wonderful cruise. We met some very nice people. We liked the size of the ship, the veranda cabin, and the staff. Everyone was very polite and helpful especially in the dining room. We took excursions at nearly every port and enjoyed them all. We did not take an excursion in Sydney and I'm glad we didn't. I walked around and there wasn't much to see on Sydney. There was ...
We have sailed on Summit before. She is an older and smaller ship, but has been refurbished. She is clean and easy to find your way around. the food and the crew are amazing and friendly. So are the other passengers. We made new friends every day. Our cabin steward was wonderful. He took very good care of us and got us everything that we needed. We took private tours at most of the ports and were ...
