Pretty good, but food was the worst ever!

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

This ship is definitely for the older generation - 45+. NOT a ship for kids. I think there were only 6 kids on our cruise, so warning...if you want the kids to have fun, not a good idea to select this ship. The destinations are not for kids/teens either. It is an older ship, but upgraded with nice decor and is very well maintained. ALL employees were extremely great! When you cruise please ...

BORING with bad food!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Having sailed with Celebrity for over 10 years, we choose this as a trip with friends. The retrofit that was done, was done well. I do not fault the ship at all. The staff for the most part (98%) gave us the superior service that you expect on Celebrity. All our issues with the cruise were caused by Shoreside. We were drawn to X because they did not cruise like the other lines. They ...

Ship still delivers a great cruise experience!

We are frequent cruisers and have sailed on many different lines and size of ships, but over the last ten years have favored Royal Carribeans brand as our favorite line. Knowing that Celebrity is a brand under the Royal fleet and never sailing on Celebrity we wanted to try and compare what Celebrity offers as a premium line under the RC umbrella. We were not disappointed but frankly impressed with ...

A Ship in Training

I am a very loyal customer to Celebrity so I am not happy to report this cruise was disappointing at the very least. I am convinced Celebrity uses this ship and itinerary to train new staff. Customer service and job knowledge was lacking. The manager of the Blu Restaurant refused to enforce the dress code. Nothing like trying to have dinner sitting next to people in shorts, tank tops, flip ...

Whilst the cruise we expected, in the way of ports, we have seen a decline in the level of service since coming back after COVID. Activities staff have been cut right back to two and the number of waiters greatly reduced. No longer any in the theatre. I’m guessing with it being over the holiday period it felt American centric, but that’s no big issue. Aqua food & service for the first two nights ...

We are a mid-50's couple who have been cruising for 25+years with multiple cruise lines over the years. This particular cruise was planned as a combined Christmas, Birthday and Graduation cruise. there were 5 total travelers, we booked 2 concierge balcony cabins, one for my wife and I and one for our son (17), daughter (21) and her fiancé (24). Our disappointment was with the overall service and ...

Staff made our trip to the panama canal special

chose this cruise because of the destination and the excellent pricing. Ship is older but well maintained and the newer furnishings are soft colors and interesting. Ship was less than one half full and that made for open elevators and less congestion all over the ship We had all shots and boosters and pretest but still got Covid on the ship. We quarantined for 5 out of the 15 days in our room ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to see the west coast of the U.S. and we are so glad we found this one from Celebrity. With ten nights and lots of time in each port we got a great introduction to so many places. Our 10 night San Diego to Vancouver cruise on Millennium was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time, made many new friends, enjoyed great food and got to see some top notch ...

No STARS for the $$$ Royal Suite

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

User Avatar

We paid a lot for this cruise expecting a truly great experience (Royal Suite). What we received was abysmal! Beginning with embarkation - we had to wait forever to get through the line (but should have been able to bypass it because we were 'suite' passengers. See below for ratings of our suite... The food in the designating dining room was good (Luminae) but the service was very, very slow. Food ...

Covid Problems

We have travel on Celebrity for 24 years...3 times on the Millennium. Due to Covid and a new staff of workers, the Customer Service was awful. We couldn't get WI-FI to work consistently the TV had hardly any stations and it only worked when we were at sea.....2 movie channels, ESPN1 and 2 MSNBC, BBC, BBC1, Cartoons, RedBull channel, Fox news and CNN. The movies were terrible and old. The Ship ...
