Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Recently returned from Millennium's cruise from Japan to Shanghai. Really great time with excellent ship, really good food in dining room and buffet and possibly the best entertainment we have had on any previous cruise (we have done 30+). Only two negatives: A) the absence of ironing facilities for clothes coming out of suitcase. B) the total absence of information/maps of next day's ...

Amazing Far East

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We visited Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and China, places I've always wanted to see. Although each visit was only a 'snapshot' of the country, visiting by cruise ship (same bed, company and comfort each night!) was ideal. The sights of Hong Kong, the wonderful toilets, and escalators (up hills) in Nagasaki, the Buddhist temples and beauty of Korea, the 'foreignness' and fascination of ...

Blown away by this Cruise, staff, ports, and all....

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Having read a few negative reports on Millie before we left, I was amazed at how just wonderful this ship is. I guess if you get 2k+ guests on board not everybody will be happy. I was shocked to be stood next to one lady who was quite rude to the staff, insisting her plate be wiped dry, and replaced with one without a small chip. This is to a member of staff who cannot do enough to make us happy. ...

My husband and I booked this cruise les than two months in advance, as it fit with our schedule and the itinerary looked interesting to us - our first trip to Asia, this would provide us with a good introduction. I had read some online reviews, which seemed to be all over the board, so my expectations were not too high. We were fortunate to have been staying in a suite, which does provide for so ...

Just back from a 5 night cruise on Celebrity Millennium with stops in Roatan and Cozumel. Millennium is now going to drydock for three weeks in the Bahamas. We had a wonderful time. Lovely balcony in C2 class. Eddy did a great job keeping us happy fulfilling all our needs. Food and drink was great. Embarkation and departure were smooth and painless. Great entertainment! Just a ...

We just returned from our 5-day cruise on the Celebrity MIllennium. We left from the Port of Miami and went to Key West (6-hours in port), Cozumel (9 hours in port), a day at sea, and then back to Miami. This was our first time cruising with Celebrity, and, overall, we were very pleased. First off, getting on the boat was a breeze. We flew Southwest to Fort Lauderdale and used SAS shuttle ...

This was the first cruise my husband and I have taken by ourselves (no friends, no children). We were thrilled with our stateroom. It was clean and well appointed. I was impressed that everything in our four suitcases could be unpacked and stowed with empty drawers to spare. Even our suitcases could be stowed in the closets. Our cabin attendant was very attentive and responded to our special ...

Embarcation was a breeze. Got to Miami Port at noon and was on the ship by 12:30. The Food was very good in all venues. The Olympic was way over the top. We thought it was an excellent meal. Both of had the Filet Mignon and Souffles. We thought in general the crew was very friendly greeting everyone when they passed. The Captain kept us well informed with good english. The ...

We left Florida one day prior to the cruise since the ship was spending an overnight in Venice and I felt sure we would not miss it. We checked our bags in Orlando and they went through to Venice with no problems. I heard stories of luggage getting lost on flights to Italy but we were lucky it went without a glitch. It was cold and rainy in Venice and we didn't go out the first day. We were ...

Cruise Review Celebrity Millennium November 4-November 18, 2007 14 Day Mediterranean: Barcelona-Venice This was our first cruise and an ambitious one of 14 days. It was also our first vacation to Europe. We are in our 50's and have traveled mostly in the United States. We spent 2 full days in Barcelona before the cruise and 3 days in Venice, post cruise.
