My husband and I always wanted to go to Hawaii but we don't like long flights. The cruise was round trip to from and to San Diego. We were able to spend several days in San Diego prior to the cruise. We rented a car and drove up the coastline of California stopping in several towns. Entertainment and service on the ship was exceptional. The ship did a night time cruise around the big island to ...

We have recently returned from a cruise to the South Pacific on the Celebrity Millennium which was advertised as a five star cruise The cruise from Sydney to Honolulu via Fiji & Tahiti on the Celebrity Millennium would in our opinion rate as 3 stars at best and this was a case this of false advertising & misrepresentation on the part of Celebrity. We have friends who have sailed with ...

My husband and I cruised with friends. We took a cruise from Auckland to Sydney on another cruise line on which we have no status so there were no benefits. We are Diamond members with RCCL so we are Elite with Celebrity. The benefits of the status adds a fun addition to the cruise. We boarded the ship with our friends, so they were able to experience priority boarding. It made the ...

Love All Those Sea Days!

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We chose this cruise because we had thoroughly enjoyed a S. Pacific cruise going to Sydney 2.5 years ago. This time, we wanted to tour New Zealand on our own and return via another long cruise. We flew into Sydney from Queenstown on JetStar early on the day before Millennium sailed. We took the train to Circular Quay, noting that mass transit is the same everywhere when an agitated young girl ...

A little about us, we were part of 14 Aussies who spent time in Hawaii before boarding this lovely lady of the sea. My daughter and I arrived early and spent 8 days staying at the Outrigger Waikiki, I have stayed there previously on 6 occasions and can say that it is location, location. Our cruise left Honolulu 11pm Sat 2nd Nov 2013. We arrived a little later than most to board, approx 2.30ish and ...

As this was our 2nd cruise we where looking forward to enjoying our trip, the first on Celebrity Century was great, but unfortunately this was POOR when you compare the 2 cruises. We upgraded from Veranda Stateroom to Concierge Veranda Stateroom our room was of a poor standard, curtains coming of the rails, handles coming off the doors, it was eventually rectified but unfortunately a little too ...

We are HAL cruisers and are currently giving Celebrity a try for a few cruises. Millenium is a very pretty ship. No issues with maintenance, everything functioned and there was attention to detail. Meals were all very enjoyable. Martini Bar is very fun, live music was plentiful and professional with something for everyone. Showroom entertainment was typical but fun and worth the time. We had nice ...

We were told to be at port at 10am in San Diago,to catch a connecting coach to Mexico to start the cruise. We had booked out of our hotel to follow this instruction. I can only describe the experience as terrible. We're told to pull our own cases from one pier to another, then shouted at , and told to pull them back . Instructions were given to get a pedicab to take them back at our own expense. ...

Victimized by Celebrity...... worst cruise ever

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

With all the competition from cruise lines, Celebrity should be ashamed for the way they treated guests on the Oct. 22 cruise from Ensenada to Hawaii on the Celebrity Millenium. In fact, think twice before you cruise on the Millenium. Not only were there very few activities, but embarkation was a disaster, entertainment was awful, the stabilizers didn't seem to keep the ship from constantly ...

Everything you have read about the San Diego to Ensenada transfer on Cruise Critic is true, but probably understated. It was the main topic of conversation at the Cruise Critic RollCall get-together, when the cruise director asked for comments or questions. Try to imagine being in a giant warehouse with 2,000 other people, with one set of bathrooms, no signs telling people where to check in, no ...
