We stayed in CS 8106. Overall, we were very pleased with the room. It looks nice in person and met our needs for the cruise. There were, however, “Kelly Hoppen” functionality issues in both our room, my parents room, and the retreat areas. On the balcony, there were only two seats, a table, and a couple of monolithic footrests. There was easily room for a third chair, but that request was too much for my stateroom attendant (who was otherwise very good). Having the aft balcony of the pair was nice and we spent substantial time out there. No USB outlets were available in our room that I could find. The only bedside plugs were stolen by bedside lamps. Limited plug availability in the rest of the room. As previously stated on the boards, the couch faces the TV instead of the great windows. I “accidentally” rotated it 90 degrees the first morning while everyone was asleep. Based on the carpet color and cleanliness underneath, I would guess I was the first one to do this in 8106 on Millie since revolution. This blocked one of the many underused cabinets, but was otherwise great. Staff didn’t say a word about it but very quickly vacuumed. My parents stayed in SS 8117. They had the now infamous chair that doesn’t slide under the desk. There were some orange highlights they did not enjoy, but it was not offensive to myself or my wife. The blue highlights in our CS were nicer. The couch on their balcony was nice, but there is a pole that is not ideal. We needed that stateroom to support our configuration, but I would not pick it if I had more flexibility. My kids were in 8119. There were more plugs and USB outlets in their room than in my room and my parents room combined. The stateroom attendant for 8117 and 8119 was Jay. He was great. At some point my 9 year old was about to get lost on the ship and Jay rescued him. I will try to find some pictures, but there have been previous photos on the boards of both 8117 and 8106. In general, Kelly Hoppen furniture is poorly thought out from a practicality perspective. Thankfully there are hundreds of throw pillows available and they work quite nicely at making oddly shaped chairs more comfortable. Read Less

On this cruise we have booked a CELEBRITY SUITE (CS 6104) on deck 6. The cabin has offered a great location midst of the ship without any noise disturbances from other cabins (sometimes we could hear the neighbours from the sky suite beside banging the wardrobe shelfs in and out). This cabin type is a real suite, as you have a large separate living room with large dining area, entrance hall and a separate bedroom with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. While the living room is very bright with the large window front going around the entire living room front, the bedroom is complitely dark as laying inside. For us this was perfect, as we are very light sleepers and enjoyed to have a complitely dark bedroom. The dining table has been large enough for up to 4 people and we have regulary enjoyed our breakfast in the suite. The biggest disappointment with the room was however the bathroom. Comparing to the rooms size and layout this seems quite small and old. The height/ entrance in to the bath is quite high and very difficult for ederly people, this becase a real issue… Also there is no socket/ electricity layout in order to connect an electrical device/ toothbrush etc. We had to order an extendable cable which has been provided immediately. Disappointed : Cabin 9096
See above comments regarding the noise coming from above. We had continual noise which disturbed our sleep at night and our peace during the day when we were in the suite.

The cabin was in good shape. I slept on the pull out couch for several nights and while not the most comfortable bed, it was fine. The cabin attendant put a duvet on top of the mattress before adding the bottom sheet and it helped a lot. There was a bit of rust on our veranda railing but it did not detract from our experience. We had a tub in our bathroom, which is a first for me except for Disney Cruise Line. We were upgraded from a standard balcony to the suite when the price dropped significantly before departure and we got all of the suite perks. I love Celebrity and will continue cruising with them based on price and itinerary. Read Less

The suite was a good size, and well laid out. The bedroom led on to the dressing area and cupboards on one side and onto the bathroom on the other. The dining area led on to the lounge area and then on to the balcony , which was great.
