My husband and I cruised with friends. We took a cruise from Auckland to Sydney on another cruise line on which we have no status so there were no benefits. We are Diamond members with RCCL so we are Elite with Celebrity. The benefits of the status adds a fun addition to the cruise. We boarded the ship with our friends, so they were able to experience priority boarding. It made the ...

We chose this cruise because we had thoroughly enjoyed a S. Pacific cruise going to Sydney 2.5 years ago. This time, we wanted to tour New Zealand on our own and return via another long cruise. We flew into Sydney from Queenstown on JetStar early on the day before Millennium sailed. We took the train to Circular Quay, noting that mass transit is the same everywhere when an agitated young girl ...

This cruise started out in singapore .we spent 4 days prior to explore this wonderful city. Ports of call were bali and then 4 ports in australia. We swam the great barrier reef, held a koala bear, petted kangaroos and explored sydney. Food on the ship was good. Lobster night we had all the lobsters we could eat. There were not many americans on the ship. Mostly australian and english. It was ...

Singapore to Sydney on the farewell to Olympic Dining Room Cruise

We wanted to dine in the beautiful Olympic dining room before it was removed from the ship at the end of it's repositioning to Vancouver BC, for dry docking. Apparently it will be moved into one of the new H class ships designed to supercede the popular Solstice class. This venue really should have been kept as it is very unique. Many people I spoke to aboard thought it was a bad idea remving ...

We sailed from Singapore to Australia. We had our doubts about this cruise when we read Cruise Critic reviews about the ship being tired. Well we found from the moment we stepped on the ship, we had fun fun fun and more fun. Were treated so lovely by all the staff and everything looked beautiful and CLEAN not tired at all. The ship felt like we were with our family, it was all so nice with staff ...

Would have preferred an inside cabin.

Boarding the ship was the quickest ever with no queues. We were advised that due to possibly some problems in Bali, we would not go there. Instead spend the first night in Singapore and spend another night at Darwin. Some were upset by this, especially some of the crew who had family in Bali. The Captain explained that three ships from the Company were avoiding Bali due to a threat and ...

We traveled on Celebrity Millennium in November 2013 from Sydney to Singapore. We had chosen the rear facing Cabin 8172. We were travelling with our five year old daughter. We - the parents - are mid forties and like it quiet with reasonable food, but not very formal an a daily base. We only have done six cruises so far. Many reviews made me nearly to NOT book this ship and cruiseline. I honestly ...

This was my first cruise, from Hawaii back to Sydney, given to me by my daughter and her husband who had spent their honeymoon on Millie the year before. We also took my other daughter and her husband, so had a family cabin 7202. I have just read other reviews, and was gobsmacked at some of the complaints. We spent 19 days on Millie and did not have one complaint AT ALL. We arrived at the ...

Millennium - new cruise itinerary

I chose this cruise for my DH, myself, and four other couples because of the interesting new itinerary that included the eastern seaboard of Australia, the Gold Coast area, and into Benoa, Bali and Singapore. The ship was lovely, the dining room wait-staff & room staff were exceptionally good. Our veranda room was very nice. Most of the ship staff seemed to go over and beyond trying to please ...
