Am trying to think of what could have improved this cruise and am coming up blank. We have cruised a lot and were last on Reflection in April. Was so warm that the pools were totally useable. We had a Sky suite after having been aqua before but I'm not really sure what the advantages actually were. Our Butler did nothing and forgot to do the things we asked . This was the second time that I was on this ship. First time was great (the year before). This time it was terrible. It all started when boarding. I had a couple of bottles of wine in my suitcase which you are allowed and they held on to it in security. I was not informed and had to go get it myself. The food in the café was terrible. We booked this cruise during last years bogoho sale. We picked it mainly for the ports & that it covered 3 countries in the west Med. The unkonwn ports of Alicante, Spain and Sete, France were a plesant surprise which we thoroughly enjoyed walking around exploring. Cruising the Mediterranean in early Fall is a great way to avoid crowds at the port cities while still enjoying nice weather that ranged between 70 and 80 degrees during the day. We picked our cruise because of the time of year and itinerary. This is a wonderful ship, albeit, an "older" crowd. The embarkation and disembarkation process was so smooth.
