Departure was delayed by three and half an hours without any communication even to their own crew members who started sailing away party on deck already but have to cancel it. Captain didn’t apologize for the delay instead just say that is out of our control because the supply loading was slow. C First port of call at Cabo San Lucas arrived at 1:30pm but the tender didn’t start transfer ...

Celebrity is supposed to be a high end cruise product. This cruise didn’t come close. The ship Itself is in dire need of a refurbishment. Peeling paint, worn furniture, carpet stained. Overall appearance is a 4 outta 10. Food, this is why we cruise. The buffet had a very poor selection. Everyday was some type of stewed dish, and a lot of them. All the dishes were over cooked and dry, in some ...

My husband and I are in our late-30's/mid-40's, and we have been on 10+ cruises together. Our last cruise was in December 2019. This was our first post-Covid cruise. Also, our only other Celebrity cruise was back in 2015, and it was out of the Mediterranean. This was our first time taking a Celebrity cruise out of the States. Pre-Cruise: We stayed two nights at an Airbnb in the Belmont Shore ...

First off I must say the crew was wonderful. The finest ever and very nice. We had sailed on Celebrity many times before Covid and really liked it. I especially remembered the warm welcome as they handed us a glass of champagne….but that was several years ago. Not anymore! Embarkation was a mess. Very confusing. You had to drop your luggage off at the ship, then go to a different parking lot ...

Close by, my birthday and value was the reason for choosing this cruise to Cabo. We have enjoyed this class of ship and Celebrity in general before- pre covid.Times have changed - the food was just terrible. It didn't make any difference where or when you ate, it was all the same problem. Bottom line, it is clear they have cut the food budget. Think they were getting complaints at sea on ...

The loud dreadful music ruined the cruise

A cruise where you cannot sit outside on a deck and relax is not a cruise. The loud music that was incessantly played by the pool pervaded every area of the deck. No one seemed to enjoy the music except maybe the crew. It was this weird techno rap with an annoying beat. You could not escape it as it was turned up to the max. The only reprieve was port days. The second we stopped in mazatlan we ...

1st Celebrity Cruise .......... Maybe Our Last!

My wife and I have cruised four times before. Twice op Carnival and twice on NCL. We were very excited to book our first Celebrity cruise, however I have to say the experience definitely didn't match the hype! Like other posters have said, the ship is somewhat outdated, but overall we thought the ship held up pretty well for its age. For us the dining was a disaster! We ate in the dining room ...

We selected this for the itinerary. We especially wanted to get to San Francisco. Alcohol Note: You can purchase wine or spirits in Seattle and bring it on board. You do not have to submit to the ship's scanner. You will go through a customs scanner but they don't care that you have bottles (very strange). The ship looks like it needs a make-over. However, the theatre, gym and dining room are ...

Bio: 54 married female, retired and I cruise two or three times a year for the last 10 years. I was very disappointed with this cruise. I had many issues but I will only cover a few. Embarkation was disorganized. The line for elite and select guests was moving slower than regular lines since the persons advancing people to the check in desk was just letting anyone go ahead. Very confusing. The ...

PlWe arrived at LAX to be transferred to the ship. A representative of Celebrity was present and gathered us into an area to await a bus. After she made repeated calls for a bus, no one came. We were stranded at the terminal for about an hour and a half before a bus finally arrived. We were greeted at the ship by the staff and escorted to our cabin a veranda cabin which we found nice enough. We ...
