We choose this ship because of its size
We loved the ship, its crew, the entertainment, activities and most important the food was excellent.
Been to the ports before but it had been a long time ago. Loved tendering to Cabo San Lucas. Took awhile but we’re retired so slow and easy for us
Enjoyed them again, as if for the first time.
Had no wait times on elevators, dinner, buffet, ...
The purpose of our trip was to check out progress on our condo that is being built in Cabo San Lucas. Cost of cruise was about the same as round trip airline tickets first class to Cabo. We booked a balcony in concierge class no drink package. One month before the cruise we upgraded with the move up program to aqua class and added the premium drink package since Celebrity offered a great ...
We wanted a cruise that was a round trip from a US city. We had been on Celebrity before so we booked the Pacific coast Cruise. We really enjoyed this ship. The balcony rooms are very nice and spacious. The food in the main dining room was good, portions are smaller than before, but you can always order a double portion if you want more. With all the courses, we always felt it was plenty of ...
This cruise was actually gifted to us so we were able to completely evaluate our trip/ship with an unbiased point of view. This ship/category is similar to that of the cruise line we remain loyal to, the service, food, amenities, shops and excursion offerings were all about the same. The ship is older so could use a little facelift, but that didn't really detract from the overall cruise ...
We choose this particular cruise because it was local to us and we just wanted to relax and eat our way through the trip. It was everything that we had hoped for and more. We decided to book the Retreat to have a little more room and also because it included pretty much everything we wanted for the trip. We booked an aft corner suite #14** and could not have been more pleased with the location. ...
Chose it for the itinerary. This was our first cruise in nearly 4 years due to Covid. The food was excellent but we did notice the portions are smaller. This was not a problem for us and if you want to order extra appetizers, entrees or desserts you certainly could.
We had a Concierge Cabin and our steward was exceptional. Friendly, accommodating and kept our Cabin immaculate.
We prefer ...
I've sailed Celebrity before, and chose this one because it fit my schedule. The Solstice is an older ship, but she has been impeccably maintained -spotlessly clean and looking good. The service couldn't have been better. The staff is clearly very happy aboard and it shows with the cheerful, smiling faces at every level of every department. The food was outstanding with several stand-out dishes in ...
We have cruised many times and this time we again chose the Celebrity Solstice for its convenient port at San Pedro, CA and itinerary to the Mexican Riviera. We love the Solstice because it combines a comfortable, mid size ship with very good ports to visit, food in many varied venues and talented entertainment as well as an outstanding crew. We enjoyed the Aqua Class on this cruise with the Spa ...
While looking for a way to escape the last of winter up here in northern Canada, we chose this 7 night Mexican Riviera cruise. The ships public areas are beautiful. Restaurants are pleasing, and the stateroom beds in short, are fabulous.
Getting to the port from LAX, be advised as of sailing (April 8/23) the airport has changed where you get taxis, shuttles, Lyft or Ubers. Just be aware of ...
We had a very enjoyable cruise onboard the Celebrity Solstice for 7 days. The ship is elegant – lots of glamour with plush seating areas, intimate dining options and well-appointed bars, shops, and other venues, such as the theater, fitness centre, spa and the solarium.
The 2 main things that stand out for us on this cruise were the food and the staff and service they provided.
The food, ...
