We chose this cruise for a little autumn sun in the Canary Islands and having been on Silhouette before in the Caribbean saw it as the perfect fit--or so we thought.
The ship was full--perhaps too full and I would say the average age of cruiser was easily 70 plus.
The positives;
Room attendant was very very good as always and a credit to themselves.

Chose Celebrity Silhouette as previously sailed on Eclipse several times.
For my wife and I this was a disappointing cruise in that the ship failed to deliver in many areas for us.
Embarkation excellent and very quick. Stateroom in good condition and well maintained by our steward Richard.

Cabin size was good, cabin cleanliness was not. Greeted by a pile of the previous guest's toenail clippings on the balcony. I don't what made us more annoyed, that someone would do that and leave them or that it hadn't been cleaned up.
