We chose this for the itinerary to see more of Spain and Portugal. Infinity is an older ship but we're ok with that. Staff were all excellent. Entertainment was mixed. Will Martin was the highlight and performed on two nights. The female violinist was good. We walked out of the male violinist. We also walked out of the magician/comedian who did old routines and wasn't funny. The entertainment crew ...
Itinerary made it worth going.
Have been on Infinity in the past, ( and other Celebrity ship's ) and we noted a drastic drop in menu standard at main dining room. The confirmed late dining had gone missing in the reservation, and we had to negotiate a bit to get a set table. Waiter service was inadequate. Each night we waited a very long time for everything. Shortage of staff or they are not ...
Having been on the Solstice class ships on four different cruises, nothing prepared us for this older kind of ship at full capacity! Okay, the ship is old, we expected that but the public places are well kept up and the food is fine too. However, the great aspects of a Celebrity cruise are missing, and the constant negatives of Celebrity are worse here than on the solstice class ships. I mention: ...
We chose this cruise because of the dates/location required. Our inside cabin was just fine and saved a lot of money. One port was changed for another due to bad weather which was appreciated rather than another sea day. Lots of activities on the ship. We dont do the drinks or wifi package because of high price which I guess is normal on all cruises.
I was quite happy with the food but I always ...
Celebrity has gone downhill in every way possible, their employees are disengaged & the service is no where close to where it was in the past. The food is mediocre and the constant harassment trying to sell and upsell drink packages and merchandise on the ship is pathetic. Overall disappointed and do not recommend Celebrity cruises. There are huge line ups at the excursion and customer service ...
The ship was nice, the food was good, the entertainment, although usually only an hour long, was first rate. Customer Service service desk was indifferent and the documentation manager was HORRIBLE.
The problem started when we arrived at Malaga Spain. I planned on going ashore, my roommate didn't feel well and I looked for my passport and it was gone. We were in Cadiz the day before. I ...
We were originally doing this cruise with two other couples a few years ago, but the dreaded covid interfered with our original plans.
Overall, Celebrity seem to be one of a minority of cruise lines who have recovered better than most after the pandemic. There’s no shortage of staff, who are as good as ever. The food is up to the usual Celebrity standard. In fact in certain areas such as soups ...
We chose this cruise for its destinations in Spain and Portugal, the itinerary consisted of 10 days 8 ports from Lisbon to Barcelona. We can say we had a very negative experience and do not recommend Celebrity line. The ship is old and is in need of repairs urgently. Our first cabin smelled like urine and had to be changed. This cruise had very little nightly activities. The average ...
Like the old ships before the razzle dazzle and kid's clubs etc, just loved the understated old fashioned elegance, the crew was excellent and it wasn't crowded, I love this ship and liked it so much we booked it again for 2024. I have only sailed on Royal Caribbean and am up to diamond status, but found the concierge couldn't be beat for solving problems. Can't be positive enough about this ship. ...
The most disappointing aspect was the room. We booked a verandah. The mattress was old and uncomfortable as were the pillows which were very hard. The towels were rough and worn. The lighting was also outdated as was the entire ship.
The food was very good as was the service. We had an excellent room attendant and excellent waiters in the main dining room.
There was very little assistance ...
