We went from fort Lauderdale to Belize and we had a very beautiful cabin with an excellent view. Our cabin 7049 with a clean bathroom and a big bed. Extra spaced balcony. All in our cabin was good. Nice cruise and party. Excellent food all the time and nice places to know around the ship. We loved the wok food prepared just in front you at buffet restaurant. We spent any dollars in a short excursion and we made beautiful friends. Very good room service a lot of emotional moments dancing in the pool side. The jacuzzi are very nice place to meet new friends drink cocktails and have tan moments. Our cruise was prepared with many months of anticipation and this is a very good idea because you can pre paid all of your activities and you can enjoy more the ship without money preoccupations. I love this ship and we'll go to an other cruise again in an other celebrity ship. Read Less

We were on the Infinity from the 5th to the 10th. The ship is showing her age, but is a really great ship. The crew were incredible, so friendly and helpful. This cruise just reinforces why Celebrity is our favorite cruise line. Our room was a midship balcony, it was quiet peaceful and had that luxurious view that is so great. They had 2 comedians and both were really funny and appropriate for all ages. We didn't see the shows but I heard they were great. For the first time ever I walked out of the Casino with more money that I went in with. The drinks were plentiful and we never waited long to get them. The bartenders were always very accommodating and friendly. Getting on the ship took no more than 30 minutes, and getting off of the ship took even less time. Celebrity has this down to a science. This was our 10th Celebrity cruise and 22nd overall. Both my wife and I thought this was one of our best trips. The ship is in excellent condition and while it is a few years old, no one would be the wiser. The staff where all great and went out of their way to say hello and provide great service. The food in the main dinning room did not disappoint. It was always cooked to order and very good. At breakfast, we tried the Elite offering in the Tuscan grill, it was good but nothing exceptional. We also ordered room service once, very good and as we asked. Breakfast in the main dinning room was by far the best. Tuscan Grill- Here is a different story. After paying $55/pp we were expecting an excellent dinning experience. I am sad to report we didn't care for the food or the lack of service. The restaurant was busy that day and probably understaffed for the number of guest. However, the smaller tables deserve the same service as the larger tables. At one point after waiting 45min for a glass of wine, I had to leave and get one on my own in the bar on the 4th floor. If this happened (it never did) in the main dinning room, it wouldn't have been an issue. But when you are paying a premium for dinner it should never happen. All in all, I would save your money and try Qsine or Sushi on 5. Unfortunetly, they did away with Bistro on 5, it was excellent for the value. Gym- Excellent with free waits up to 50lbs and lots of cardio machines. Drink package- it was my first time with a package, it was good but impossible to get your moneys worth even with bottle water, coffee and drinks. They know what they're doing and know the price is a money maker. It was nice not to have to sign and worry about each drink, so I would consider it again. Ports- Key West was nice and very upscale. We shopped and went to Willie T's. Great place to eat and people watch. Cozumel- We went to Mr. Sancho's on our own. We paid $55/pp for an AI all day. The food was great and the beach and facilities very nice. It was a bit crowded for me as there were 7 ships in port. I would return or do something less crowded. Sea days- There were plenty of chairs and sun for everyone. At the aft of the ship on deck 11 there is a very cool outdoor cinema and lots of covered lounging. It is a very comfortable place to hangout for the day. Entertainment- We did not attend any fo the produced shows. I guess I have been on my share of cruises and have seen enough productions. We did however follow the acoustic singer Nikki throughout the week. She was really great and we enjoyed listening to her. Final thoughts: We were glad to back on Celebrity, they seem to go a bit above the others in terms of service and effort. We loved the Infinity and would go on her again. Read Less

Wanted to try a holiday cruise so we chose New Year's Eve cruise to celebrate the holidays. 3rd time on Celebrity. The ship is older and refurb is needed but the ship is well maintained and the service and staff are very good. The entertainment on board was just ok the only show I would recommend is iBroadway it was well done. If you haven't seen Sean I would recommend him as well it was upbeat and light hearted we saw him on the Solstice about 2 years ago and the show was actually the same so we were a little disappointed with that. The casino is very small but I love the No Smoking it was wonderful. I play table games so I was set but if you like slots you will find a very old and not exciting section for slot action. Eating in Qsine was nice but they changed our NYE reservations without notice so that was super disappointing and frustrating our NYE celebration was the main reason for the trip so a monkey wrench out the gate was Not welcome. Tuscan was wonderful, Blu was actually nothing special but the service was outstanding. We had a good time overall Read Less

My husband and I took our first cruise ever to celebrate our 20th anniversary on Celebrity's Infinity. We were extremely pleased with our trip. We upgraded to Concierge Class (Room 8060) and thought it was spacious for a cruise ship and loved the balcony. We liked being able to dine in the Trellis Restuarant when we first boarded and by the time we finished our meal, our room was ready. Our stateroom attendant was attentive and prompt. The outside deck area was kept clean by the staff but you had to get outside early to get a lounge chair. Deck 12 was our favorite space on the ship to lounge in the cabanas and take in the views. We liked the number of choices offered at the buffet but found Trellis to be unimpressive. We did pay to dine at Qsine and it did not disappoint- it was a fun dining experience! The schedule provided a lot of options and we enjoyed the music and comedy shows. We scheduled a message at Canyon Ranch Spa and enjoyed the services. This ship was perfect for us seeking a getaway without kids. The ship does not have a lot to offer for families with small kids or even teens but perfect for couples seeking a quiet get vacation. Pros: I love Celebrity cruise lines. Clean and well-maintained ships, superb service, great food, and a no smoking casino. Cons: (on my recent Infinity cruise): Limited music venues. This is the first cruise I have been on in quite a while I was disappointed in the live band and music choices. Very limited variety, no piano bar, not oldies music at all! Made for somewhat of a boring and disappointing cruise, to be honest. On my previous 2 cruises (Carnival), Awesome live band playing 60s and 70s music, but they often played in the casino which was so smoke filled my wife couldn't even bear to walk by it, let alone sit and listen to the band or dance. Also our specialty dining experience in the Tuscan Restaurant was a complete disappointment. Paper thin steaks, bland sides, and extremely slow service. Next time we will pass on the Tuscan Restaurant. A $90 we would love to have back. Read Less

We disembarked from Ft. Lauderdale. If you're there early, Las Olas beach is the place to go! A lot of fun and a great beach. Hollywood beach is pretty great too! Our disembarkation was very smooth and seamless. The ship was beautiful and in good repair. Those people who say its not must really be looking for something because its super clean, well lit, and looks great. Our Cabin and attendant (Seby) were great, we had a veranda and having the patio was very nice to have! Dining was SO GOOD! Check out Qsine if you're looking to upgrade a meal for a night, the entertainment is AWESOME! Our servers in the main dining were so attentive, helpful, friendly, and fun! The food we had was absolutely delicious and it was fun exploring outside of our comfort zones! The entertainment was alright, the shows were okay. It was a good way to pass the time. I think I went in expecting too much though. The theater is beautiful! If you're looking for something to do, one of our favorite things to do was at the very top and back of the boat... GO early and grab a little cabana, snuggle up with your SO, and watch a movie! Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozumel was great, the people are super friendly! Key West was okay... our snorkel got cancelled. We rented an electric golf cart for the day and drove EVERYWHERE to explore. That made it more fun for sure! OVERALL: We would absolutely go again! Booked our next one on the ship, WE CANT WAIT! This was our first 5 day cruise - it was much easier to fit into our busy work schedule and we had a blast! We thoroughly enjoyed the not-huge size of the ship, and the fellow passengers (few children and no crazy party people). The time of year was handy; it fit into our schedule. It’s wonderful to visit hit places when it’s cold and snowy at home. Also, we made friends on this cruise. We have not done this before. We plan to cruise together next year. We have already been communicating with them. We did no excursions. We very happily remained on the ship and enjoyed what is had to offer. The only small concern was that there were no enrichment activities. We enjoy them. Also, portrait photos were not taken very often. That can be improved in. I always love my cruise photos and portraits! They are always great. Read Less

I had been told by people that Celebrity was a cut above the rest. They must not have been on this ship. There was not much help from the first time we got on the ship right through getting off the ship. First off I had tried to contact Celebrity about me doing something special for my wife as we were celebrating our anniversary. The webpage doesn't work for that so I emailed them and didn't get an answer. I ordered a cake to be delivered to our state room the first night. While we were at the show they delivered it. The cake was beautiful and tasted very good. The cake was huge and needed to be refrigerated. Here is where the first problem was. We called down to room service for something to wrap up the cake. We were told they didn't have anything to wrap it up in. The refrigerator was small and was full of drinks for extra charge so we couldn't use it so we ended up throwing out the cake minus a couple of pieces. We upgraded our drink package to the premium package. The service at lunch and dinner was terrible as far as getting drinks, I guess that way they cut down on costs. The buffet was good with a few exceptions. At breakfast they had a poached egg stand that was manned by one person to serve the entire ship. At lunch they had a pasta station manned by one person. The ice cream station was manned by one person. Tables weren't being cleaned off. Coffee dispensers were always empty. The floors were filthy. We booked an excursion for Belize, in the morning the wife was sick so I headed down to the excursion desk. The desk was closed but there were three employees there. I went up to the desk to talk to them and the lady stuck the close sign in my face. The selection for dinner was subpar to other cruises I have been on. As to the other reviews I knew the ship was just coming out of dry dock and I knew not everything was going to be done until December so0 the construction didn't bother me. The only good service was at the café. The only thing great about the cruise other than being with my wife and friends was the entertainment. I doubt very much if I would ever use Celebrity again. We just returned from the October 29th sailing of Celebrity's Infinity. It was her first sailing after drydock where they refreshed some areas and changed out the SS United States Restaurant for a new Tuscan Grill Restaurant. It was a Thursday to Thursday sailing and there was only one other ship in port – so it made embarkation and debarkation easy as far as the number of people there. A little background – we are a senior couple, living in Palm City, Florida, who love to cruise – this was our 12th Celebrity cruise and 48th overall – we began cruising in 1987. We have cruised with Celebrity on the Meridian, Zenith, Century, Mercury, Millenium, Eclipse, and Constellation – some multiple times – prior to this Infinity sailing. So we have experienced all the various classes of ships that they have ever had. Since they did away with the Century class ships, the M class have been our favorite. We booked an inside cabin on Deck 3 – 3105 – midships. We booked this cabin because it gave us good access to the mid-ship elevators and the areas of the ship we have liked in the past. My husband's walking ability isn't what it used to be so we try to be as close as possible to the venues that we use the most. Embarkation was quick and we were on the ship very quickly – having checked in at the Elite check-in. The cabins were not ready so we went to Bistro on Five for a nice, calm, relaxing lunch. We avoid the buffet on sail-away days as it is just too hard to manage for us. There is a cover charge for Bistro on Five - $10pp – which is double what it was when they introduced this venue – but worth it to avoid the crowds in the buffet. The food was excellent – and we left there and went to our cabin afterwards as they had announced the cabins were ready. We unpacked our small bags and set out to check out the Cafe Baccio and find our Muster Station. Turns our our Muster Station was in Michael's Club – we got there early and got a seat – you don't have to bring your life jacket to this drill so that is a plus - afterwards we were able to exit directly to the outside deck for the sail away. We were a little late leaving, but it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed sitting on the port side as we went out the inlet to the Atlantic. We had booked Anytime Dining – so we were able to relax a bit and unpack before going up to the dining room for dinner. The Trellis dining room is aft and is two story – with Anytime Dining being on Deck 5 and those with fixed seating on Deck 4. We got there about 7:15pm and had to wait a short while for our table for 2. We don't mind that and we were seated along the railing overlooking the fixed dining room below. We had a great waiter – Ali – and his assistant Sebastiano – the food was good – we had Prime Rib – and we relaxed over dinner. It was obvious to us, looking downstairs, that the late seating was going to be really late – we met people later who told us that they didn't finish the first night until 11:15pm!!! After the first night, we made a reservation each night – sometimes early and sometimes late – to accommodate our going to a show or not – the dining room hostess, Maria, was charming and noted our preferences as to seating (not too far in so my husband didn't have to walk too far) and in Ali's section if possible. The food was good the entire cruise and we never lacked for things to order. There are some items that stay on the menu all through the cruise and others that change each evening. We always had excellent service in Ali's section and the two times we weren't seated there it was OK but not stellar. We never book a specialty restaurant because it isn't a value for us – we don't eat big portions and frankly, the surcharge for those restaurants these days is way too high in our opinion. I went into the Tuscan Grill to see what they had done – it is very contemporary – and the menu sounded good – but not for us. I wish they had left the SS United States alone – they did display some of the artifacts from her – but not prominently. Since we are Elite with Celebrity – we are provided a breakfast dining venue that we enjoy – there are various specialty coffees and drinks (Bloody Mary for example) and smoothies and pastries and fruit plates and salmon, and meat and cheese plates – so we ate there most mornings – one morning we ate in the main dining room – it was very good and service was excellent in both places. We also have a cocktail hour provided each evening from 5-7pm in the Constellation lounge and we went there most evenings – we skipped the Captains party and the Senior Officers party and we didn't dress formally on formal night – we have “been there done that”. The itinerary had four ports – Cozumel, Roatan, Belize, and Costa Maya. They were all right in a row after a first day at sea. We only got off the ship in Roatan as it was a very close in walk to see it as we hadn't been there in a very long time. The other ports we have been to many times and we enjoyed the ship while others were off on land. These ports are great if you want to see Mayan ruins or snorkle or dive. The water is beautiful and they are known for that. The ship didn't have the main dining room open on port days so we were forced to use either the buffet or the grill or pay for lunch at Bistro on Five – I wasn't happy about this and we tried to go to the buffet at “off” times to avoid the crowds. The buffet was not managed well at all – tables went uncleared and there were no supervisors evident and those who were there certainly had no one cleaning tables quickly – and those we saw being cleaned were given a cursory swipe with a cloth. The floor was left with crumbs for a long time – just not well done at all. The tables on the aft deck outside just sat there with dirty dishes – the food was pedestrian at best – the only good part for us was the Pasta Bar where you could choose your own ingredients that were then sauteed and you chose your pasta and sauce – you could control the amount of pasta and it was very good – the Pizza bar also had passable pizza – but trying to reach in anywhere in the buffet under their new sneeze guards was very difficult and you had to ask for someone to help. There were no trays on which to put your dishes so it was a balancing act if you had more than one thing – and it was hard to find someone to help if you needed it. Just not a good situation in our opinion. We tended to hang out in the Cafe Baccio – there are nice places to read and the Gelato and dessert bars are there as well as specialty coffee and drinks. You don't have to buy anything in order to have the pastries so we had some cake on two occasions – excellent. We had gelato as well a couple of times. The area is nice – but could be improved upon as there is not a lot of comfortable seating and there is plenty of room to improve it. There were a lot of sales in the Emporium – a lot of sales in the Spa – other than morning stretch the classes in the gym were an upcharge – just a lot of selling going on. Celebrity doesn't do a lot of announcements and that is a plus and Patty, the Cruise Director, was great – we enjoyed the comedians and the Divas 3 shows – we aren't much for production numbers and we missed the acrobatic show the last night which we heard was really good. We met a lot of really nice people – had some great conversations - got some books read. I used the Computer Lab twice – the computers are so very slow it is hardly worth the effort. We both get 90 free minutes and I used almost all of mine up just waiting for things that I needed to check to load – you can use the wi-fi on all your devices on the ship – though I don't know why you would want to as it is very slow – be sure to put your phone on Airplane mode or you will rack up extreme data charges. We cruise to be unconnected but I sure saw a lot of people using all kinds of devices – The roof top deck with the movie screen was under construction while we were on board – it is supposed to be “live” by Dec 5th. There will be food – but there will be a charge for it I understand – again, more selling. All in all, the ship did not live as well, for us, as we hoped it would. We had to walk all the way to the back of the ship for meals, and all the way to the front for shows. Now, if my husband were more mobile, this wouldn't be an issue for us and hasn't in the past – we just have to cruise differently these days. He is considering a scooter. The “feel” on Celebrity has changed for us. We used to consider it a cut above – not anymore. For anyone who has never cruised with them or has only cruised a little with them, then you won't notice the difference probably. If you are a long time Celebrity cruiser, you most certainly will notice it. We won't be cruising with them again as we both feel that it just isn't worth it for us. Debarkation was interesting. We had asked for an 8am departure time and got that. As Elites, we were to wait in the Trellis dining room area in which we had had breakfast all week and, supposedly, coffee, juice and rolls would be provided. We got there a little after 7am and it was so disorganized that it just was comical. No one knew what was what – nothing was labeled as to what it was – there were very few cups to be had – there were juice glasses, but no juice – you get the picture – it took a while to sort it all out. We did get a cup of coffee, a glass of juice and a roll – we were called off pretty much on time and it was easy to find our bag and get in line for Customs – we called the Park N Fly when we got outside and waited a very little time before they were there. We were back home by 10:30am, unpacked, did our laundry and settled back to life on land. Don't think that this review is negative – we did have a good time – the best part was the people we met. There were some high points with crew members who were excellent. The ship still needs lots of attention in various areas – friends told us that when they went to the wine tasting the last afternoon, the plates with breakfast items – ie salmon platters, meat and cheese platters, were still sitting un-refrigerated in the hallway of the dining room. Just an example of the lax supervision and attention to detail. Read Less

This was our second cruise on Celebrity Infinity and it was another good one. The ship had just undergone 2 week drydock for some maintenance. It was mostly unchanged from our previous experience from earlier this year. The Main dining room food is enjoyable and the buffet varied and interesting. We ate all breakfasts and lunches here. We did not pay for the specialty restaurants but they were full of happy diners. There is some noticable wear on the chairs in RendezVous lounge but once the entertainment starts, who cares. Cafe al bacio is still serving amazing coffee and pastries with a large selection. They will even make what you want if it is not on the standard coffee menu. Only compaint regards the pool bar. Service was so SLOW it was totally not acceptable. 6 bartenders working could not serve a beer in less than 10 minutes on 4 separate occasions. Dont know what the problem was, but they were busy doing something and looked very stressed. Maybe a system review is in order. The entertainment was good to excellent with variety from comedy to amazing gymnists and much more. Disembarkation was slow but not confused. Not enough agents to keep the Customs and Immigration lines moving well. In summary we look forward to another celebrity cruise in the future. Read Less
