Overall solid cruise. Friendly staff. Luigi (Cruise Director) Lauren and Chico (Activities) were all great and extremely personable.
Dining room was great — I tried a lot of the fish, lamb, pork. Didn’t go for any of the up-charge dining rooms, although they pushed them a lot. Dining staff worked their tails off as usual to accommodate people.

We picked this cruise for 2 reasons. First, we really enjoyed our first Celebrity Cruise on the Solstice (Alaska-Tracy Arm Fjord) in 2017, after 4 prior cruises on different lines. Second, we liked the itinerary with 10 nights and only 2 days at sea.

We loved the itinerary on this cruise, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Monterey, Catalina and Ensenada! Included overnight in San Francisco. The staff on this ship is terrific, very attentive and nice. This was at least our fifth cruise on Celebrity, the second on this ship class. We absolutely love the Thalassotherapy pool: 90-degree salty water, high pressure downspouts on head/neck/shoulders, and bubbling chaise lounge racks. We've seen nothing like it on Princess, Royal, Holland, or Carnival.

The ship is starting to get old. Some of the chairs in the Oceanview Grill Buffet are worn and legs wobbly. Crews were varnishing wooden areas near the pool and stairways trying to keep the ship upgraded which was good. The staff onboard is fabulous. They just want you to be happy and enjoy yourself and try their best to make sure you do.

This was our 14th cruise. We have tried all the other main stream lines except Disney. We stayed in an inside cabin on the 11th deck. The average age of the passengers was about 60 years old and we were the young ones in our 40s.
Pros:
The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety.
