We were traveling to California to spend s couple days with family, we decided to make the long trip worthwhile and see more of California. We chose Celebrity as they added Catalina island as a port of call. It was a wonderful trip. Celebrity takes care in picking employees who take the extra steps. We chose select dining and never had to wait. Most nights we were waited on by Allan and Dhia. ...
We choose this cruise because we had never been to the west coast and we always had planned to drive the Pacific Coast Highway. When we saw this cruise option, we decided that it would be a great way to see lots of cities on the Pacific coast! We live on the east coast, and have taken many Caribbean cruises and two Mediterranean cruises, as well as several to Bermuda.
We flew into LAX a day ...
From the ship to the entertainment to the service. Everything was well done, above and beyond my expectations. I also enjoyed my dining experience in Blu, the staff and service was excellent and so was the food. I only had one shore excursion with the ship to Cannon Beach and Seaside in Astoria which was nicely done and informative. The Infinity is a beautiful ship and the staff and crew couldn't ...
This was my second cruise overall and both on Celebrity. I am a solo traveler, and appreciated the many opportunities I had to meet a wide variety of people. I really liked the smaller configuration of the Infinity, and the layout of my cabin. I appreciated the ability to walk from the back to the front of the ship in the cabin aisle, allowing me to skip walking through the shops, casino and ...
This cruise was planned by a family member, and I just joined on the trip when invited. It was my 3rd cruise, and first on Celebrity. I liked it quite a bit. The passengers were on the senior side, and it was nice to not have a ton of kids everywhere. (Likely because of school schedules). There were a few kids...but maybe less than 10 on the entire ship. There were a few younger adults but not ...
The Infinity did not disappoint. The ship is in good shape, but it is older than most today. The crew is extremely friendly and the service is fabulous! I enjoyed eating in Blu every breakfast and dinner and the food is great! The ports were interesting, except for Astoria, OR. I loved Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Monterey and Santa Barbara was my favourite port. I'd move there in a ...
Great ports in all our favorite NW cities. Great food both onshore and in Infinity’s restaurants. Superb butler service in our suite
Entertainment was way above average. The magician was outrageously funny and accomplished. The aerialists were an unexpected surprised - like watching ballet.
Couldn’t believe how big the work out area was. Lots of machines, free weights and awesome views ...
I chose this cruise because of the port intensive itinerary. Boy did we get our money's worth. I had read many reviews on the Infinity prior to our sail date and was a little worried. I've been on all of the S class ships with the exception of the Equinox and have been on the Summit and the Century so I have a broader spectrum than some. Don't believe the stories on age and wear and tear. ...
Celebrity Infinity May 2017
Background- Total of about 35 cruises, ~30 with Celebrity, last few were all on Solstice class ships.
Route-We started in San Diego and moved up the coast ending in Vancouver, 7 stops in 11 nights, also doing an overnight in San Francisco, each city stunning in its own right. They couldn’t have picked a better itinerary, and we were only touched by rain one time ...
I wanted to make a cruise along the Pacific coast and this cruise was 12 nights. Most other cruise lines were fewer nights. I don't like to go to all the effort and expense to go on a cruise for only 7-9 nights. This was my first Celebrity cruise, I normally cruise Holland America. I found Celebrity every bit the equal and more of HAL. One thing HAL does that Celebrity didn't, is the first day of ...
