OK, I have read the previous reviews and yes this is a smaller, older ship that needs (and is scheduled for in 2024) refurbishment. As the cruise Director Dave noted "yes, we don't have all the bells and whistles of some of the newer ships, but we work hard to make up for it with excellent service and quality attention to detail". And he was dead on correct. Dave, by the way, was one of the most ...
We have sailed with Celebrity a few times and are always impressed with the ship, the crew, food, wine list and venues. While this ship is older we were surprised at how well she looks. Our stateroom was great, lots of storage and a really comfortable bed. Our dining room crew (table 149), Septian, Romal and wine steward, Vijit were all fabulous. They made our dining experience exceptional ...
We had not sailed on Celebrity for two years and had the opportunity to try the Celebrity Infinity. We were very happy with our choice. Yes, the ship is an older ship, however it is well maintained and to me, did not really show her age. The crew members were very friendly and helpful. It started with the Captain, who was very visible, gave daily updates and this is the only cruise I can remember, ...
We choose this cruise strictly for the dates, and it was our first Celebrity cruise. We were pleasantly surprised by the elegance of the ship, the above average food offerings, the 5 star service, the cleanliness, the amazing crew, I could go one. The ports where all good with the exception of Belize city. We tendered into port, toured the shops, and headed back to the ship for a spa day.
We ...
We would repeat this cruise. This is our 4th cruise since Covid struck and the other 3 were with Royal Carribean and Holland America and we have seen the same issues with all of them...food not quite as good, not so many services, such as automatic twice a day cleaning of your room. Still, they deliver a wonderful experience.
Ship and rooms very clean and well-designed. Covid protocols not as ...
I think we spoiled ourselves a little when we booked this cruise. I was concerned after reading many of the latest reviews of her but honestly we did not have the issues that mamy have complained about, but maybe we have different standards. We had suite 1130 and the only thing I wish I would have known was that our balcony would always have light due to the staircase next to us.
We ate at Blu ...

I'm a 40-something housewife and my husband and I have now been on 7 cruises over the past 12 years. 5 of the previous cruises were Royal Caribbean, with 3 of those being on Oasis of the Seas. We have always stayed in suites, because we find having private space on a ship to be one of our top priorities. The reason we decided to try Celebrity for the first time, is that we realized for the same ...
Even though our trip started under a Coronavirus cloud, we were able to make it just under the wire, with all of the cruise warnings. The Infinity did a wonderful job with near constant cleaning, Purell stations everywhere, temperature checks before boarding.
We were able to get a great deal with perks in Aqua class and loved our cabin. Sure, you could tell in some areas that it is ready for a ...
Great amenity package. Love cruising with Celebrity. We are Elite and enjoyed our extra amenities. Staff was so gracious everywhere. Room steward, Elise was very attentive to our needs.
Lewis, cruise director was very personable and approachable.
Cabin was spacious and met our needs. Bathroom had good counter space. Shower had a curtain but did not press against the body while showering. ...
