We scheduled a charter music trip and the charter company is using the Infinity for the entertainment spaces available. I can understand that. We have sailed on Windstar, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival. This ship by far had the worst food selection and service of any. The Trellis dining room served several meals that were basically inedible. I was served the wrong steak at one meal and the server disappeared immediately without checking food quality. My wife had a steak and called it “old meat” that should have not been selected. My chicken was dry and tasteless. Some of the food came out so quickly that we knew they were under a warmer for awhile. A few meals were good. The ship is dated and sorely in need of refurb which is supposed to happen late in 2020. The carpets are worn but at least the pool areas seem to be nicely kept. The indoor pool is a nice touch. Our cabin (7081) was OK, but we noticed some of the bed linens were dirty and there were loose tiles in the shower. The cabin attendant said they could not fix the tile because it took 6 hours to set. We offered to work with them but to no avail. We are booking the same room next year and I bet the tiles will still be loose! If it weren’t for the charter company using this boat, I’d probably not sail on Celebrity again just due to the food quality and poor dining room service. Read Less

Embarkation was very slow, we were at the Port at 10am and the doors opened up shortly after, however, the screen staff were not there so we lined up for 30 minutes before any staff that could screen you arrived. Once we did start boarding ship, we were stuck on the gangway for another 15 minutes as they staff on board were not ready to scan our cards. We were travelling with 8 friends, 6 of which had never cruised on Celebrity before. We became Elite status on our last cruise, however, our cards stated Select. This took trips to Guest Services to change, were we produced our paperwork to prove our status, however, our status was not confirmed until later on the cruise. Cabins were ready by 1pm. Our cabin 9056 and our friend's 9058 were opposite a crew door that constantly banged shut every few minutes, day and night. We complained, they adjusted the door but we could still hear the door, avoid 9056 & 9058. Food in the Blu restaurant was amazing, we were also allowed to order from main dining menu, so we did not miss our prime rib the first night and beef wellington and lobster tail on the last night. Our waiter, Imayan, Somalia Ricardo and bar waitress Jenny were wonderful. Stopped at Key West, which is always a great day. Cozumel, we opted for a private snorkeling trip that all 8 enjoyed, however, we did not enjoy the boat. The boat was very small and old, too small for 15 adults, we were promised our own boat but this was not the case, only room to sit, no room to move, no facilities, we would not recommend it, no ladder to get into the water, you had to sit on the side and jump in, they hooked on a ladder over the side to get back onto the boat from snorkeling but very hard to get back onto boat. We do not recommend Cozumel Cruise Excursions.Net; El Cielo Cozumel snorkeling tour. It was only $50, guess you get what you pay for. We all had the Classic drink package and most of us up graded to Premium as we wanted martinis. Noticed a lack of bar staff, we all had to go to the bars to get our drinks, not like on other cruises were there were staff walking around offering to get you drinks. We all did enjoy the food, drink and entertainment overall. Read Less
