First off, there was nothing in the end that would put me off going back on Celebrity This was number 5 with Celebrity and we noticed a slip in a few areas. ll staff were very friendly, smiling and cordial. Our room attendant was on the ball and the food overall was good.
Dining: Select: We selected this as we wanted the ability to eat later than 6 but not at 08:30pm. Most meals were good or very ...
This cruise was a bit of a disappointment from beginning to end. We noticed a high level of disorganization the first day with key/room screw ups as well as dinner seating mistakes. I attribute this in part to the staff being unprepared for a full ship with 600 kids. They normally only have a few kids on the Panama Canal Cruises. Because of Pod problems they were in dry dock for repairs and ...
Let me start off by saying that this was mine & my husbands first cruise so we dont have anything to compare it to. That said, it couldnt have been a better experience for us from beginning to end!
We flew into Fort Lauderdale Sunday morning and were met by extremely friendly & helpful greeters who guided us in the right direction. After we had all assembled together we were herded out to a ...
Once we were in the terminal, there were 8 rows of people waiting to go in to register and get there sea pass cards and accounts set up. We had to wait about a half an hour then went up to the Select Captain's Club line and were taken care of quickly. We went right on the ship and to the buffet on the 10th floor to have some lunch and were let into our rooms at 1:00.
CABINS: We were at the ...
For my husband and I this was our sixth cruise, first on Celebrity. We enjoyed Infinity even tho we were supposed to be on Millennium. We were lucky to make embarkation because our flight was delayed in Atlanta due to a plane problem. So embarkment went really fast for us, they held the boat for a few minutes from what we were told. Missed the muster drill..oh darn! :-)
We had a beautiful ...
This was our third cruise on Infinity in 14 months. We have previously been on a 14 day transcanal cruise in November 2004 and a six day repositioning cruise from Vancouver to San Francisco in August/Sept 2005.
Upon our arrival in Ft. Lauderdale, two days prior to the cruise we had rented a car. On the morning of the cruise we packed and headed to the airport to drop off the car. We had ...
Just returned from our 7 night EC cruise aboard the Celebrity Infinity. Traveled with my husband and our 13 year old son.
Embarkation. Absolutely flawless. Due to an early flight we showed up at about 11:00 - although boarding time wasn't until 1:00 - and were onboard in minutes. Our room wasn't ready yet, so we ran about checking out our new home and scouting out our table assignment. Lunch was ...
First of all this was our third Celebrity Cruise and our 5th cruise overall. We were a little upset because we were suppose to be sailing on Millennium but because of POD problems with Infinity the two ships had their itinerary's switched. I had nothing to worry about I enjoyed Infinity as much or even more actually than Millennium.
First of all we flew down to Fort Lauderdale a day early. ...
This was my first Celebrity Cruise and I had very high expectations based on the reviews and friends who had traveled on this line. We didn't have any particular destination in mind but had had such a wonderful time with our children on an Alaskan cruise the prior year (Star Princess) that we looked for a ship and a destination that would appeal to all of us. When I read about the Olympic Dining ...
GTS INFINITY Review Eastern Caribbean 08 January 15 January 2006
This was our third cruise and due to ship shuffling our second time on Infinity. We were originally booked on Millennium. We had a coveted aft balcony on deck eight. After spending a week in that cabin with that HUGE balcony I now understand why they are coveted. We are a couple in our late 30s traveling with a 2.5 year old ...
