In these stylish 170-square-feet of living space, you'll have a lovely sitting area, amenities galore and a generous view of the ocean thanks to the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Step out onto the veranda to see the view up close and personal.
The worst experience for us was the lack of maintenance of our cabin. The shower floor was with black/grey/yellow mold, missing tile grout and mismatched tiles from a previous repair attempts. The previous days water was standing beneath the shower floor, so that it would "gush up" when stepping into the shower. That was a gross feeling. The shower floor was arched up for some reason. We began to sneeze and looked inside the cabin air duct to find that it was coated in a layer of grey fuzz in the cabin air vent. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was fairly roomy for a cruise and there was plenty of storage. We were able to remove the items from the minibar and keep our beverages and medications requiring refrigeration in the fridge. It didn't seem cold enough to me, so I called and it was replaced, twice. The third time was a charm. Was great after that. Loved the shower. One of the roomiest I have seen. Also like the attractive night light in the bathroom and all the storage under the sink. Read entire member review >>
Room: 7043 balcony right adjacent to the elevators (forward) and right above us when you got off on Deck 10 was the Spa Pool area which had a "healthy" food bar with Coffee to bring back to the room. Our balcony was great had the nice high back chairs which you can lean your head back on....some balconies do not have these.....they also collapsed and you could make them go back further! Every night chocolates on our pillow...did I say EVERY night.....a lot of lines gave up doing this too! Read entire member review >>
This is an accessible cabin. Bathroom is large enough to get my scooter in. There is a step up for the balcony. They have a movable metal ramp to access balcony. Only problem is it extends out and blocks level access to that side of bed. Read entire member review >>
For 3 adults the cabin was tight for space. Very pleased we chose the balcony for the views, and more space. The cabin staff kept it clean and tidy, supplying towels and washcloths more than once a day. They were more than accomodating to several small requests. We found the chief, Gabrielle, very helpful to deal with. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin (6031) was nice. The steward was very good. We really do not ask for much, but when we did, it was always attended to right away. We had an extra large deck, but Alaska is not the best place for sitting on your deck. It was quite cold. Read entire member review >>
A twin bed and a sofa bed on level 6 which is referred to as the penthouse deck. We were located right by the lifts Aft and starboard. This was a very quiet location and easy to navigate to due to the location of the lifts. There was no noise from the lifts, neighbouring cabins or the theatre (which was one level down). We hardly heard any passing passengers either.
It's a bit crowded with three people in, but we expected that. With the sofa bed down the table has to go outside and you can't use the 'desk' and chair.
The shower room was perfectly adequate. The shower curtain not quite long enough but there is a step to hold the majority of the water in! Shampoo, condition, body lotion and soap bars proved as well as cotton wool and cotton buds.
Lots of hangers are provided and there was plenty of room for all our things. We stored our suitcases open under the bed and put our shoes, umbrellas etc in (although the cabin provided two umbrellas as well). Two towelling robes and a swimming pool towel are provided. Ample towels are located at the pools (as are blankets for cold days).
There is a safe in the wardrobe plenty big enough for cameras, wallets, jewellery etc.
Electric sockets at the desk provide two US type sockets and two European sockets. This was plenty for us.
You do not get an iron or kettle in the cabin for safety reasons and if you try to take them they will be confiscated. Hot water, tea, coffee can be accessed from the buffet 24 hours a day.
As standard the room is kitted out for two people. Within only an hour or so of us being in, our steward knocked on the door to check that everything was ok and explained that he then got the additional items for any more people/children. This he did very quickly.
I have back problems but found the bed to be very comfortable as it is a foam mattress - you do not get any lumps or springs sticking in you. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was a normal size for a balcony cabin, the shower was a little larger than some we've been in.Again a lot of rusted metal on the railing and beside the door outside (at least they could paint it) Read entire member review >>
Stateroom and attendant were good, except the sliding door to the veranda was very hard to open. No candies at night on our pillows....except 1 night, in 15, there were a couple cookies. There were towel animals on our bed about 4 nights. Read entire member review >>
This cabin is one of the 'sweet sixteen'. Nothing more need be said. The veranda is twice as deep and this made a big difference. This cabin is near, but not next to, the forward elevators and the noise level was nil. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was 8011 and we found it to be very comfortable. The balcony has an unobstructed view and it was very enjoyable to sit out there, particularly when we were pulling out of port. It is located port side and pretty far forward so you do feel the motion of the ship more there than a cabin midship. It was never a problem for us. I enjoyed that it was really easy to pop up the stairs to the pool deck from there, particularly the Aqua Spa area. The beds was very comfortable and we had sufficient room to hang our clothes up or store them in the drawers. The only negative was that the hallway outside our cabin always smelled of cigarette smoke. We talked to our cabin steward and he didn't think anyone was illegally smoking in their room, but that it might be a quirk with the ventilation system as we were two decks below the smoking area. After that he made an effort to spray air freshener in our section of the hallway. We never smelled it in the cabin, just in the hall. Read entire member review >>
REALLY quiet, plenty of strategically placed storage. Very comfortable bed, and I'm picky and usually don't sleep well the first night in a hotel, and had no trouble at all. little bit of sun in the late afternoon on the balcony, which was nice. sparkling clean, bathroom well designed as well. Only issue is lack of plugs. I think deck 7 is pretty ideal - 3 floors up to the pool, aquaspa, solarium, and buffet, 3 floors above the main dining room. can walk to either, but also was not a long wait for the elevators at any time. Cabin 6049. Very adequate closet space (we brought extra hangars and needed them), nice balcony with table and two chairs, quiet, even though we were very near the elevator. We liked the easy access to stairs and elevator! Read entire member review >>
Balcony was extra large. They look the same on the ship's deck plan, but there is a difference in size. The ones located around our cabin (on both sides of the ship) are larger than others.
Good location, no noise from the venue below, and not too far from the elevators. Read entire member review >>
Infinity is due for refurbishment this fall.....the cabin was comfortable, but did have some wear and tear. There was adequate storage, suitcases fit easily under the bed. Had small couch, table and chair...as well as bed with two bedside tables. The shower, bathroom was small but good storage. The veranda had two chairs, one table and was very good place to sit and enjoy the view. Our room was very quiet, and we did not feel the ships movement in extremes. We were above the main entertainment theater...and below the Aqua spa, fitness and indoor pool, Aqua cafe; and the observation deck/nightclub. It was great location for us....the only main room we had to go to at other end of ship was the main dining room, and that was just once a day. Read entire member review >>
Cabin has extra large balcony, literally twice the size of other cabins in this category. Other balconies were half as deep and enclosed at top. Our balcony being deeper and having open ceiling made it seem extra spacious.
Cabin located in quiet end of hall, little to no traffic here. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was fine. The location was mid-ships so it was convenient to the the entertainment, shopping, and dining decks. It was just a few steps to the elevator bank so it was also convenient to the upper decks. Being low and mid-ship it is a perfect location for minimizing any wave action on the ship. Very quiet.
