This was our second cruise on the Celebrity Solstice and we enjoyed it very much. We stayed in Aqua Class cabin 1538 which was very large and well maintained. Our ports of call were excellent. The captain of the Solstice made this journey very memorable. He was very personable, and approachable. He genuinely wanted to do what he could to ensure the passengers had a good time. He did a 360 as we passed the lava flows on Kona so everyone got a good chance to see it as it hit the ocean.

This cruise was amazing. All the ports were outstanding. The Solstice is in excellent condition. There were lots of activities for sea days: ukulele lessons, hula lessons, Maori Poi Ball dance, cooking classes, a passenger chorus, outstanding lectures (Pacific Ocean, WWII, Women of Pearl Harbor, Volcanoes etc). .We have been on more than 20 Celebrity cruises, but this was our first cruise on Celbrity Solstice. We wanted to see Hawaii, as well as enjoy a repositioning cruises.
