First time on Celebrity and first time at ALL the ports. We selected this cruise because we wanted to see all the ports and relax on the slow float back to our home port. We flew to Honolulu from Sydney stayed at the Moana Surfrider in a Bunyan Room with views to the beach and Diamond head, it also had access to the Beach Club Room (pay the extra it is worth it). We pre-ordered a day ...

A relatively EXPRENSIVE 17 DAY TRANSITION CRUISE TO SYDNEY FROM HONOLULU...Lots of people sick from on board virus..(removed number 0ver 200). food in dinning room and buffet monotonous and bland. Asst Ma'de tried to calm us down over food issues and brought chef to us--who then made excuses about trying to please guest who didn't like spicy or tasty food. (Cruise line trying to please wrong ...

Cabin: Cabin 9191, an outside balcony on the port side, had plenty of room and the most well-designed bathroom we’ve seen on a cruise ship, with more storage space than we needed and a shower big enough that you could actually pick up a dropped bar of soap. There was some low-level vibration whenever the ship was in motion, but not enough to bother us. Dining: We ate twice at each of the ...

Once again, Celebrity provided top quality, top service and a great experience. From cabin steward, Dominic to our wait staff Ian and Vincent to Debbi the Event Coordinator and Josef, the Concierge everyone was very professional; service oriented and provided excellent service. The main dining room: excellent service for our large group. Wait staff, Ian and Vincent were exemplary. From ...

This cruise was basically a repositioning cruise. It went from Vancouver BC to Hawaii and then continued on to the South Pacific and Australia. Our cruise spent 5 days at sea and then another 5 days in the Hawaiian Islands. The ship itself was very clean, and it's a beautiful ship. We were initially in cabin 3126 but it had some kind of mechanical noise coming through the floor that sounded ...

We wanted to see Hawaii and thought this would be the best way to go. Stayed at the L'Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver for 3 nights before our cruise--an elegant hotel within walking distance of many conveniences. Vancouver is a beautiful modern city, very clean and friendly. We rented bikes and rode around the sea wall in Stanley Park and the following day we went to Grouse Mountain. Embarkation was ...

Vancouver to Hawaii

Choose this cruise to return to Hawaii after 33 years. We are from the east coast, so we thought it would be a good way to get accustomed to the time change to Hawaii (it was). With five plus sea days to start out, it was relaxing, but everyone was getting a bit stir crazy. Since it was late in the season for Vancouver, the first few days were cloudy and cool. The remaining sea days were sunny and ...

Cruise was very disappointing

We chose this cruise because the last time we sailed on celebrity we had a wonderful time and rated celebrity as the top of the line. We were originally planning to sail on Norwegian but switched to the Solstice when we saw it. Big mistake. It was the most boring cruise I have ever taken. I have been on 15 cruises on 4 different lines. Celebrity is now at the bottom of my rating. The ...

Well worth the time for vacation

We really enjoyed this cruise. Be ready for smaller portions than the usual American size that I have come to know. There is plenty of more portions, all you have to do is ask. The buffet was not portions, so make your picture. I did not like the 5 specialty restaurants. We did eat at the Asian Silk Harvest one time. They advertised king crab legs. They should have said ONE king crab leg. ...
