This was our 3rd time on Solstice, but our 9th with Solstice Class ships, which is always our favorite. There are no water slides, wall climbing, or belly flop competetions so if this is what you enjoy, don't pick Celebrity! This is also the longest cruise we have taken! Have just arrived back from the 18 night Tahitian cruise from Hawaii across to Sydney and have to give the greatest praise for the staff of this wonderful ship.

Boarded ship in Honolulu and was onboard within 30 minutes. Went straight to Grand Epernay dining room for lunch. Bags arrived promptly except 1 which went astray but turned up early evening.

The cruise provides tons of entertainment. The one I personally enjoyed the most is the "Hot Glass Show". You can listen to Jazz on the lawn with lit-up candle lights around you. Very cool. I also enjoyed the closing night performance "ashley amber harris tribute to whitney Houston", which ended the trip on a high note.

I had a special birthday and this cruise and the next one gave me exotic places to visit with little effort. Loved the ports of call. The islands in French Polynesia were truly beautiful.
