Nice ship. Gluten free not great

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

Embarkation was confusing but prompt. (The ship was full.) The crowd was almost all over 55. I think we saw 8 kids - all under 6. Our bags were in our room quickly. The online safety checkin was quick. Our room was more spacious that I expected. The shower was nice sized. The balcony easily accommodated the two of us. Adequate drawer and closet space. Getting power to our CPAPs was ...

Nice Cabin with a Sunroom

1. The infinite balcony is simply not a balcony; it’s a sunroom with a window that opens. No more debate needed. 2. Our 15th cruise and we missed our balcony but didn’t hate the sunroom concept. On sea days, when the decks are crowded, we missed the option of being able to sit out on our own balcony. 3. The fitness center was small and mostly crowded, especially on sea days. Miss the ...

This was our fist cruise on Celebrity since 2008 and it was nice to see that the line has adapted to the competitive world of super-ships while maintaining many of the feature we loved on the smaller ships. Overall a very good cruise with good service, great entertainment and good dining. Was it perfect? That depends on your definition. Yes, some of the staff could have been better trained, ...

Old Ship, Older Cruise Port Terminal. This was an issue for those that used they own vehicle to the port. Never received notification from Celebrity that they was no parking garage at this terminal. Fast Embarkation Process. Cabin – Old furniture including a couch that had many rips. Limited storage and counter space. Nice shower with glass doors vs a curtain and a nice large ...

Just got off celebrity Ascent out of Fort Lauderdale. We chose to get into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood the day before and stay at hotel. We had a concierge room and a 12:30 boarding time. We decided to get to port at 11:30 and wait in the area. Well, We called for Uber (15$ compared to shuttle from hotel 15$ each) at 10:28 AM, Uber picked us up at 10:30, we were at terminal at 10:45 expecting to ...

My wife & I have been cruising since the very early 1970s (M/S Boheme was first) .. we have done 40 or so on Carnival but left when it became so droopy pants and rotten loud music. Transitioned to 32 or so on Princess but were saddened to see our Elite category being diluted with the loss of complimentary benefits we had enjoyed in that category. Transitioned to Celebrity. Cruising has been very ...

Cruise came up a bit short.

We had been on 15 cruises with Royal Caribbean and decided to give Celebrity a try. We were expecting it to be a step up and it was, but not in all areas. We knew the Equinox was an older ship that had been refurbished, so that was no surprise. The exterior of the ship showed some age, but the interior didn't look dated. The furnishings were a bit nicer than on the Royal ships. Our cabin ...

Superb Cruise Yet Again

This was our 6th cruise with Celebrity. We are in our eighties and have cruised 19 times. This was a cruise to the Dutch Islands of the Caribbean. As usual we made use of an outstanding cruise consultant with Expedia Cruises. All the necessary information is on the Celebrity web site. The Celebrity App is really needed to avoid confusion. However, in our case, going cruising is ...

We booked this cruise when we were on the Apex cruising Ireland and Iceland in 2022. We wanted to experience an E-class ship on a warm weather itinerary. Just my husband and I looking for a warm getaway from a winter in the Northeast. Of course, the last 2-3 winters have been pretty mild. We got a great deal on an Aqua Sky Suite with $1500 on board credit and used the last of our pandemic future ...
