The Good, The Not So Good, & Needs Improvement!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We chose this cruise based on the land tour option (that option gets 2 stars, as it was a shoddy haphazard attempt to piece together a land tour that fell way short…I will write a separate review… but know this… Princess & Holland America have the land tour down pat!) Now onto the Millenium review: The good… food…. Excellent creative meal options..e.g., Poached Lobster Tail in a Champagne ...

First Time on Celebrity

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

I chose Celebrity after being bumped at the last minute from a June 1 sailing of Cunard's Queen Elizabeth due to "staffing issues", despite being a Cunard Platinum World Club member. I chose Celebrity over Princess and Holland America because Celebrity is supposedly a "cut above" Princess in particular. (Tried Princess twice .. never again!) PRICE: I feel like I got a pretty good deal on a ...

Beautifully Renovated Ship

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We have never been to Alaska and heard nothing but Rave reviews regarding taking an Alaskan Cruise. This was our first time on a Celebrity ship and were advised by our travel agent to book with Celebrity and its ship the Millennium as it was recently refurbished. We found the Renovated Millennium to be beautiful and well done. The ship was close to 3/4's full due to just starting again after Covid ...

Covid warning

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

User Avatar

The cruise was understaffed and was not diligent in sanitizing public areas. We both came home with Covid and the day before we disembarked in Ft. Lauderdale the captain announced 1% of the passengers had tested positive for Covid. No follow up, no mention of contact tracing. The staff was excellent but only one bartender and no wait staff in bars and lounges. We have cruised on Celebrity for ...

Weather not great but Cruise was wonderful

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

From the moment we boarded the Solstice until the day we departed, the crew of the Solstice gave us an exceptional cruising experience. Yes, as some people have said, the interior of the ship is dated and she is ready for her retrofitting to a Retreat vessel. But hat being said, some older furniture and a few carpet stains could not ruin our voyage. We ate in Luminae as we stayed in a Suite, ...

A cruise three years in the making, fourth time sailing the Summit. Bermuda and Charleston

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Celebrity Summit

Celebrity Summit 6-2-22 Our adventure on the Celebrity Summit sailing of June 2, 2022 actually begins back in 2019 when we booked the “Charleston / Bermuda” cruise for 2020. That was canceled and it was rebooked for 2021, which was also canceled and then rebooked for 2022. Then Bermuda put it's covid protocols into place which in turn caused Celebrity to change the itinerary to visit Bermuda ...

Celebrity Summit - Small Ship

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Celebrity Summit

My husband and another couple sailed on the Celebrity Summit, Bermuda and Charleston SC cruise June 2, 2022. Ship was smaller then I imagined. Staff were professional, friendly. This is our third cruise since the pandemic - the other two were on Royal Caribbean. From a safety standpoint I thought that Royal did a better job. This trip elevators were packed. Masks were required in the casino and ...

Great Cruise, horrible pre-cruise support.

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Celebrity Summit

The cruise itself was great. Unfortunately, there was an approaching storm, so we had to leave Bermuda a day early. Weather happens so I didn't take off any points. The worst part was pre-cruise support. Horrible. I did not factor it into the overall rating otherwise it would have been 1 star (or bubble), it was that bad. They did a last-minute itinerary change because Celebrity didn't ...

Don't Choose Celebrity Cruises To Celebrate Your Special Occasion

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Celebrity Summit

User Avatar

My husband and I booked the cruise on the Celebrity Summit to celebrate our anniversary (11 years married; 21 years together). We told the booking representative at Celebrity Cruises about our anniversary when we reserved, and the note appeared on our confirmation documentation. The Celebrity Summit did NOTHING to help us celebrate our special occasion during the cruise, nor even acknowledge our ...

Nice cruise but terrible after cruise customer service

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

User Avatar

We chose this cruise because if fitted our dates. All of my party bar one has been on a Celebrity cruise before but it was my and my husband's first time on Solstice. We travelled in a family group. One thing that really struck us upon embarkation was how empty the ship was. That made embarkation really quick. We later found out it had only 32% occupancy so it was a very different experience ...
