Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

Inflated prices for what you get, and outrageous cover charges for for any else. Noisy Cabin, door slamming most of the day and evenings. Had a bad excursion and the Officers on board could not resolve it, and did not honor what they offered to compensate. People working at Guest Relations Desk are mostly cold, not courteous and not smiling. Specialty restaurants charge way too much money for the ...

Antarctica is Indescribable

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

The reason for this cruise is simple: ANTARCTICA!!! The most amazing place I've ever been. The other ports were Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Falkland Islands (cancelled because of weather) Puerto Madryn, Argentina and Montevideo. There were a lot of sea days so I think they struggled to find enough entertainers or those willing to fly to South America. For example; the in house performed a night of ...

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Two years ago I booked 3 back to back cruises on the "recolutionzed" Celebrity Millennium. The cruise started in Singapore on Janusry 18,2020. I was so impressed by the beauty of the decor, the layout of the ship, and how comfortable my inside cabin was. As cruise affiocnados all know, things do not always turn out as expected: the corona virus changed our plans. The January 18th cruise ...

Equinox with Captain Tassos- great fun

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

The Equinox / Solstice class ship did not disappoint again- this was our 4th time on the Equinox and the addition of Captain Tassos was a huge plus – having sailed with him before on the Solstice he is by far the funniest and most entertaining of all the Celebrity captains we have had. Boarding was a breeze as was departure. It was great fun- the musical entertainment was very good and Kevin ...

2-day Cruises are Great!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

We've been on 47 cruises, mostly long cruises, even taken a 3-month cruise around the world, but a group of 13 from our apartment building, decided it might be fun so we jumped right in. I wasn't sure if such a short cruise would be just a hassle, but it turned out great! The building usually has Happy Hour twice a week, so this was sort of like a 2-night Happy Hour (no I'm not a heavy drinker, ...

Comfortable Cruise but Nothing Special

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

It is well known that Celebrity Constellation is one of the older vessels in the Celebrity fleet, but considering she is about to go in for a significant upgrade in May 2020 in France, she is in pretty good nick. Sure, you always notice minor things like a bit of rust or flaking paintwork on the outer hull structure, which had no detrimental effect on my enjoyment of the cruise, but otherwise ...

A great itinerary

My wife and I chose this cruise because we had never visited any of the ports of call and the deal we were offered was good for us. We chose to stay a couple of nights in Singapore before we sailed - our travel agent chose the Furama Riverfront Hotel for us. Perhaps we should have researched this a little more for whilst the hotel was a fine place to stay it was too far from any of the attractions ...

We have been on several cruises previously , although we have never travelled with Celebrity. Upon arrival our cabin was dirty with used dressing gowns under the bed and a contact lense, which neither of us wear on the floor. the bathroom was grubby . we had requested twin beds but the bed was double. i went outside and spoke to a staff member who said' you can easily separate the beds.' If we had ...

2 Night Nassau Cruise in Aqua Class

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Just returned from a solo 2 night cruise to Nassau. I flew into FLL the night before and stayed in Dania Beach - Jaxson's Ice Cream for dinner and Bake Shack for breakfast and snack - lots of interesting donut flavors - were wonderful. Took an Uber to Dania Pier and waded in the water. Equinox is looking lovely. Crew were fantastic. Very friendly. When prices dropped I moved to Aqua ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

We chose this cruise to see if we like the Equinox to take a cruise next year with an itnerary that looks great. We were on the Edge this past year and it was one of the best cruises we had been on in our 30 plus cruises. I thought Celebrity would now be our go to cruiseline. Maybe due to the length of this cruise the staff could hardly care about anything. We had a suite and our Butler told ...
