Ship is older but clean and in good working order. It’s an older ship and smaller than some of the newer ones but easy to navigate. Staff is pretty good for the most part. Our room steward and our dining room staff were great. The others were OK except for the bar staff. In general the bars and bar staff are the weakest. Food is actually pretty good. We have been on more than a handful of ...
Went on a 9 day cruise from Athens to Venice with stops in the Greek Islands, Turkiye, Croatia and Italy
Loved most of the stops.
The staff and Crew of the Constellation are wonderful.
The ship on the other hand was a big disappointment
Food was the same every day in the main dining room, The buffet was the same every day
No variety at all. Also, cruising on this ship they try to ...
We chose this cruise due to all the Greek ports that we wanted to visit.
Embarkation was ok, miss the medallion of princess.
Food is not the greatest. The aqua and retreat guest get a much better menu. Menu in the main dining room is less than 2 stars. Fish includes Cajun Spiced Drum, Tilapia of which is mostly farmed and you don’t want to know what they feed farmed raised Tilapia. As I ...
This was our first Celebrity cruise and was chosen to accommodate other companions’ time issues and by virtue of an interesting itinerary.
First some good things: Main dining dinners were all good and service there was good. Vast majority of staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our party included one six-year-old and the ship had a great “camp at sea” program run by an exceptional crew ...
When we originally booked this cruise the flight details "would be advised later" but Celebrity clearly stated "we will find the best flight for your cruise itinerary". That flight turned out to be a budget airline that required a check in at 3.30AM!
It meant leaving home at 1.30AM.
So an entirely sleepless night and this is supposed to be a relaxed cruise?
Lesson number 1, never ...
We have sailed with Celebrity a number of times and chose this cruise due to the itinerary. The ports were wonderful, however ship experience was not what we have come to expect from Celebrity. There was very poor communication regarding the ports ( when available maps were unreadable or useless, no talks about the port, tenders poorly organized - weather was bad for 2 but very little ...
This was our second Celebrity cruise and the first on one of the smaller ships, the biggest disappointment for us was the food and slow service in bar areas. The issue with the food was limited menu choices compared to previous trip on Silhouette, cold food in buffet and several stations in the buffet area were just not used on many occasions. Obviously the slow service in bar areas is a ...
Went on Celebrity's "Connie" to Dubrovnik, Ephesus, Mykonos, etc. expecting a lot. Although I've been on 12 cruises, this is the first for Celebrity; I'd been told that this was the upscale Royal Caribbean and really the only line better was Crystal. Au Contraire. Perhaps if expectations hadn't been so high I would have enjoyed the cruise a lot more. Perhaps.
So what was good first? The ...
We took the cruise from Athens to Istanbul (7 nights). I want to have something clear: we are experienced cruisers as this was our 21st cruise.
1. Beverage Packages:
They are very annoying on day 1 trying to sell you the beverage packages. Visiting the lunch buffet the 1st day is very painful as they will try to sell it to you every 2-3 minutes. People, honestly, it is not worth it. But ...
We did a back to back boarding on Aug 10th, 2014 These were our 29th & 30th cruises (24 on Princess) and the first on Celebrity. For those reading this review I will try to make a comparison. I'm sure others have different opinions but theses were our feelings.
Pros: 1) Beautiful ship -.loved the balcony flooring and the bathroom
2) Friendliest crew of any of our cruises - they all seemed happy ...
