General: we came off the ship very happy of our experience on the Equinox. The star is very attentive, no matter where on the ship, if you need hep or an information they are there really to help. The food is very good, if you have selected a "drink package" they will serve you as much as you want, We thought they would served one glass and disappear, no way they keep asking if you want more ...

Before the cruise: We had it all booked online therefore we checked in online and had our luggage tags and Xpress passes with us. Embarkation: We booked 2 Celebrity Suites (3 people in each suite) and there was a separate check in counter for Suite Class so a staff member escorted us through the process and we were given our room key cards. We hold indian passports so we had to surrender our ...

Celebrity is overrated; very rude service, poor shore excursions.

We took the cruise from Athens to Istanbul (7 nights). I want to have something clear: we are experienced cruisers as this was our 21st cruise. 1. Beverage Packages: They are very annoying on day 1 trying to sell you the beverage packages. Visiting the lunch buffet the 1st day is very painful as they will try to sell it to you every 2-3 minutes. People, honestly, it is not worth it. But ...

Best Cruise Ever

We have sailed with Holland America and Carnival - no comparison with the Celebrity Equinox. I can't say enough about the quality of the food (choose the BLU dining room!) and the EXCEPTIONAL staff. On other ships I have often felt the staff were "forced" to be nice. On the Equinox the staff genuinely seemed happy. The dining room staff in the Blu dining room were the best I've experienced. ...

We have just returned from a 12 night cruise to Italy and Greece. It was one of the best cruise we ever had. This is our 8th cruise and embarkation in Barcelona was a breeze. We were in Suite 1615 on the 11th deck and it was exactly as we pictured it to be. Both our Concierge, Carlos and Butler, Cesar attended to our every need. Our Stateroom Stewarts, Allan and Taurif were extremely efficient ...

After a brief flirtation with P &O Azura, we returned to our Celebrity family for a Greek Islands cruise on the Equinox sailing out of Barcelona. These last two cruises have certainly confirmed to us that we definitely much prefer the smaller ships. We realise that there are much bigger ships than these two that we have recently experienced, but really they are too big for us, and we can't wait ...

It was with a certain amount of trepidation that I approached my third Celebrity cruise having read a number of recent reviews from Critics returning from Equinox. Declining standards, poor service, 'no chocolates', expensive drink etc etc. Well i suppose it all depends on what you expect from a Cruise. If it is to have your every wish fulfilled at the click of your fingers by willing slaves who ...

We were in a platinum suite for our 7 night Adriatic cruise. Our butler and cabin steward were fantastic. They didn't fix our problems but they were honestly trying (more than I can say about anyone else on the ship.) Celebrity is TERRIBLE. We called them the first night to tell them we had no hot water. 4 days later, they finally fixed it. The only problem was we ONLY had hot water. It was ...

We departed West Palm Beach on 10/30/13 on US Air to Barcelona. All flights were good and on time. We arrived in Barcelona around 7:20 am and took a private arranged pickup to our hotel the Flor Parks hotel on Las Ramblas. The hotel was centrally located and convenient to everything. It is your basic hotel with no frills but we were only there for one night so that was fine. We checked in and ...
