This is an odd one. My and my wife (both mid-30's) just got off this ship and I can say we were not too thrilled about the ship itself. The crew was super, service was spot on, and food was outstanding. I'll just do a quick rundown...
Cons:
Hardly any public toilets!!!- When dining in Blu there's only one men's toilet (literally 1 toilet) and it services 3 restaurants, 2 bars, and a lounge. ...
In the last three years we have sailed on RCI, NCL and Carnival and decided to try Celebrity. While the others were good, Celebrity was by far the best! And honestly in many ways it was not even close. Start by an embarkation that literally took 2 minutes. Have our tickets on our phone. Do the facial recognition and walk on board. It was that easy.
We booked Aqua Class because we wanted ...
My D/W and I are Diamond on Royal but love both companies. I started doing the research for an anniversary cruise and wanted something different than sailing on Anthem out of Bayonne. The Equinox was rated very high, so I looked into one of her sailings. For many, many cruises, my D/W and I would walk back to the ship from some port and I would look at the aft cabins and tell her “one day, I want ...
Cruise took us from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman.
We are not early embarkers and avoid a lot of hassles. Quick through check-in and on the ship within 15 minutes. Dropped off our bags in our room and headed for the dreaded lunch in the Oceanview. Not disappointed, overcrowded and limited choices. The muster drill, though not the terrible video, was over ...
We are frequent cruisers as we live in Florida. We are Elite on Celebrity, but have cruised on Disney, Royal Caribbean, and Princess. We choose the ship and room location by cost and ports. If we are going to a cold climate, we do not book a balcony. We like Aqua class due to the location by the fitness center,Blu dining room, and Persian Garden.
We enjoy the live music on board and attend ...
I did a short party cruise years ago, but this was our first true cruise. I typically book all my own travel, but did use a TA for this trip. Our TA ask what 2 things were most important. I said food and service and she recommended Celebrity. She was spot on. We booked concierge class, deck 10, Stateroom 1203. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale the day before, highly recommend doing this, just in ...
western Caribbean again-
Staff outdid themselves this time. Four nights at Tuscan and each time more enjoyable than the previous! I don't enjoy meat but their filet melted in my mouth with joy! Waiters attend with perfection, warmth and humor, when they know their guests. Each course shocked us all with flavor and creativity. Next time we may eat there every night.
Petit Chef is worth one ...
I have cruised well over 15 times and this by far was my favorite cruise. This was my first Celebrity cruise. The pros: the food in the Silhouette Dining room was delicious, the Mexican buffet & Pizza at the Oceanside Cafe were very good. The chef’s carved beautiful pumpkins for decorations throughout the ship for Halloween along with elaborate spooky desserts. The bathrooms were ALWAYS clean in ...
Although it was our 4th cruise on Celebrity, it was also our 2nd cruise on the Beautiful, Sleek and Luxurious Equinox!
I am a Celebrity Loyalist! Would not consider using another cruise line because I’m very satisfied with Celebrity! They give me good Value for my money...
Although I took a beating in the casino... lol... I still am enjoying myself because the crew caters to your every ...
Was pretty disappopinted with this cruise. It seemed very over crowded with not enough lounge chairs or seating in the main dining room. Not well thought out I think, about the layout or the maxium of people that would be expected to be in one area, everyone on top of eachother.
Food was "ok". Some crew members obviously not happy to be there. Some were rude, like you were a bother.
There ...
