Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

As first time cruisers we spent a lengthy amount of time researching all the different cruise-lines that sail the Mediterranean and I found this site to be extremely beneficial. We ended up choosing Celebrity as it was highly recommended by various travel agencies and frequent cruisers. I have written a lengthy review of our cruise experience below. It is very long so apologies in advance. ...

Chose this based on recommendations of two different people who had been on this ship. This was our first cruise ever, and we were very pleased with our experience. First of all, 100% of the staff were friendly, helpful, upbeat- even the ladies who clean the bathrooms were cheerful and helpful. All of the food was excellent- we loved the main dining room- I was very impressed with the menu ...

We have used the company before and like it, so an early birthday treat became essential this year. My husband unfortunately injured his back on travelling to Manchester for our early morning flight which troubled him somewhat and he sought help from acupuncture in the spa club over three seperate days which eased it somewhat, but no dancing for us! The service from room, dining, bars and all ...

First time cruisers but we are hooked!!

We were first-time cruisers and we were delighted to have taken up a recommendation from an acquaintance who cruised on Equinox last October. We booked our own flights and hotels because we could not get direct flights from our home location - so our first encounter with Celebrity was at the Port of Barcelona. Check in was rather drawn out but I suppose when you try to check in over 2,700 people ...

This was our first Cruise. Our flight to Barcelona was fine. But didn't really give you time to visit the City. At Embarkation there were large crowds, seemed to take ages, but once the desks opened it got moving. Disembarkation seemed to be smoother. Celebrity Equinox was a lovely ship. Large, but not so you felt lost. Our cabin was very comfortable, large cosy bed. Tv, fridge and a ...

We had been on Celebrity before and liked it. This ship was going where we wanted to go so we chose it! Our cabin was a concierge class and that was special. We had fresh fruit every morning and canapes around 3. It seemed like every time we left the room someone straightened it up! The service and food was fabulous! Everything was on time and well done. The staff was so helpful. We ...

Perfect Weather and Calm Seas

We loved this itinerary (Barcelona, Majorca, Gibraltar, Cartagena, Lisbon, Cadiz, and Malaga). There was an oversight in Barcelona, Lisbon, and Malaga. The sea days were spaced perfectly and the weather during the entire cruise was sunny and warm. We were pleased with the little things that Celebrity does to make its guests feel special. In particular, upon returning from a long tour day, the ...

We had to reschedule this cruise from last year which gave us the opportunity to add 5 days up front to explore Barcelona. We are so glad we did as there was so much to see and take in. We want to go back. The cruise was fantastic - the weather perfect, Celebrity's staff was friendly and helpful; the ship was spotless, Blu's food was even better and I so appreciate the accommodations for a gluten ...

Amazing Mediterranean trip in a Celebrity Suite on Celebrity Equinox - 5 stars

This is my second Celebrity cruise (the first was on the Millenium along the inside passage of Alaska) and it was fantastic. I really like the Celebrity cruise ship line as there clientele is generally more mature and there are not noisy children running around unsupervised by parents everywhere. I stayed in a Celebrity Suite (room number 1110) and the suite was beautiful. The room attendtants ...

Sky Suite exceed all expectations!!

The Sky Suites are absolutely gorgeous. The service provided from all suite staff was absolutely great; from the Butler to the attendants. The Suite restaurant Luminae was great but most for the personnel than for the food. The waitresses and the Somelier Nikolina went the extra mile to fulfill our requests. The nightly shows were as good as can be expected. Service in the Martini Bar is as ...
